Yankee Stadium -Home of our heroes!

I lived in the Bronx for most of my upbringing. As is true with most Westchester County residents we moved up from the Bronx. Although I lived near the Yankee Stadium I never attended a game. My brother was an avid baseball player and he made sure to vist the stadium at least once a week. Now I regret not having gone with the old structure being torn down. I always remember that when I took the #4 train many people hovered around the open platform to see the game in process. That was my only view of the old stadium. We knew when there was a home run because the sound of the cheers reverberated all the way up the hill to where I lived. On game nights parking in the neighborhood was tough but we always found one. Now parking spots near the stadium go from $50.00-75.00 a spot, unbelievable. Oh well now a new stadium is built and great things have happened. The Yankees are now National champs in the world of baseball, what a great way to open up the new home of the Yankees.. Go Yankees!!!!

Real Estate listings are a phone call away

In the Real Estate world must learn to overcome the fear of public speaking. The use of the telephone is an excellent way to begin ridding yourself of that fear. First you should create a script for your self that you wil use when speaking to unknown contacts. Most important is to create new scripts to address things that come up during your conversations. Most importantly don't be afraid to admit that you do not know something. This makes you more human. People don't expect you to know everthing but definitely know the basics such as area, price, comparatives and school district.Don't be afraid to get back to the contacts after researching the information. You will be more respected as a Realtor when you deliver what you promised.Make sure you follow up with a card or a thank you card for anyone who has given you a referral. Most important during a phone call is to be courteous to the listener. That can make or break your opportunity. Do not over react or get angry if you get hang-ups. You might want o try again at another time. People have many things going on in their lives and sometimes cannot field a call.be patient and listen attentively to what people have to say. remeber they may be reacting to a past marketer or Realtor that was not professional towards them. Listen and assure them that your service quality will be better. Continue this practice and take note of whao you call and when. You may find that some times in the day are more successful than others.Good Luck and don't give up.!
