The news this morning - it appears that GM is going to need to file bankruptcy because they couldn't reach an agreement with the shareholders. I'm not putting them down but having a GMAC name attached to our company has become somewhat of a burden. Because we have a GMAC franchise name many people are wondering whether or not we will be affected by all of this. Because GMAC Real Estate was purchased by a profitable company back in September we are happy to announce that we are not affected at all by the problems that GM is going through. The new company is working diligently to get us a new name and a new identity. I am pleased so far with the news the new company is sending out to us, and the support we are being promised. I am even more pleased that we aren't going to have to explain how we're getting through this in the situation GM is in at this time. It's so much easier to say we were purchased last fall by a lucrative company and that a name change is coming. It will be interesting to see what we end up with as a name!
My Real Estate Partner Karol Yeager and I work hard to keep a good honest reputation as agents, We want our clients to be informed of how the market is, what needs to be done to get their home sold and what steps are going to be taken to get the property to closing. Karol and I have listed and sold many different types of Real Estate. Lets face it, there are a great number of foreclosures out there today and we know the system! We have closed a huge number of bank owned properties successfully, and also have closed many that are client owned. We love to assists buyers and sellers in the research needed to make informed decisions about the market and how it will affect them whether they are buying or selling.
Anyone who is thinking of buying or selling deserves to be knowledgable before they get into the market, and we don't mind spending the time it takes to make sure they are informed. We think of our clients as #1, and we stive to take the time to listen to their concerns, and ask them to help us, help them. Buying and Selling today is different than it used to be, and we want our clients to know what's going on out there!
