Go Local in Grafton

Come out to Grafton's Farmers MarketSave your gas, encourage local agricultural production and shop for fresh, wholesome fruits and vegetables at the Grafton Farmers Market. Held at the Twin City Plaza lot every Thursday from 9am-6pm until October (as weather permits), the Farmers Market in Grafton offers locally grown fruits, vegetables, baked goods, plants and flowers. It's a great way to visit your neighbors and show support for our local farmers while helping reduce the use of fossil fuels by not having to ship produce in from outside sources. You can find corn, onions, peppers, squash, beets and zucchini at the market right now. But, as more crops mature throughout the summer months and into the fall, more produce will be available. For more information, please contact Nancy Hundt at 262-377-1650. Going to market has never been so fun!

These photographs will be put together in an exhibit during Auckland Heritage Week at the Parnell Community Centre (September 15-30).
