Grafton is a beautiful village outside of Milwaukee that has retained its small town charm throughout the years. But, far being just another small town, Grafton is experiencing some great commercial growth and other improvements this year. Stores like Kohl's, Best Buy, PetSmart and Michaels are looking to set up shop here. The South Commercial District is starting on the Creekside Development and redeveloping the Manchester Mall. A new Advanced Healthcare clinic is in process of development right now on Grafton's West Side and the Aurora Medical Center will be breaking ground right here in Grafton this year.
The Village Board has decided to implement several programs in Grafton in 2008. These include a community wellness program, a study on how to increase tourism to help support the city's redevelopment efforts, creating a park development plan for the next five years, creating an ad-hoc committee to ascertain the environmental sustainability of the community and beginning work on a Smart-Growth Plan that will address housing and transportation in the Village.
It's an exciting time in Grafton right now. So many positive things are happening. Contact me today so I can show you the endless possibilities Grafton has to offer!
