Why living on Coutolenc is so awesome. From the skyway in Paradise to the first red light before the Magalia Dam is Coutolenc road which meanders thru heavily wooded areas and along side of the Feather River Canyon.

This scenic drive up Coutolenc offers some canyon vistas unbelieveable views of across the canyon and includes waterfalls which of course increase as our last snowfall melts. The shades greens on the many variety of trees which call the Fether River Canyon home include ponderosa pines, cedars, oaks, valley oaks, madrone and of course manzanita and plenty of it.

Come to visit Magalia California. Home to the most beautiful scenic views.

Kite flying, Dogs playing frisbee, horse riding, nature walks, the extensive list of things to do at the largest park in Northern California is amazing. Bearhole is a lovely area as you can see.

The many sites to see and visit will astound most new residents to Paradise, California. Our local clubs meet here for fun in the sun. This park has very wild features and some of the trails are not for the faint at heart.
This beautiful park has something for everyone, playgrounds for the kids, swimming holes, hiking trails, walking trails. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Also know that this park has some wild animals as residents. Bears and mountain lions have been seen in this park.

Last weekend I dropped by the local home improvement center to get a few things for a room fix up, we are doing this week. Is it just me or did the prices of building materials dropping? Drywall was the best example I can think of right now.

Right after the Katrina storm the building supplies skyrocketed and now they are adjusting downward, or is it that the construction of home building in Chico, Paradise and surrounding Butte county is almost non existant.
Whatever the reason, I am sure that local Paradise California home owners are liking the reduction in prices. When your ready to take on another project to fix up your home, you will appreciate those lower building material costs in Paradise.
