The overall number of Home sales for the Bradford Hills Subdivision are down about 20% for 2008. Homes have been taking on average 90+ days to sell and the sales prices are down about 10% since the first of the year.
In this type of market it's important to remember that Buyers choose homes in the BEST condition and priced correctly.
Yesterday I voted early. In my business, I never know where I'll be tomorrow. I have the day planned and then an offer comes in, the home inspection blows up. You know. The schedule changes and the lesser important things get moved. You can't do that on Election Day. They don't hold up the election for YOUR
Personal issues! So you vote early.
I am always amazed at my friends that don't vote. They're not ashamed of it. It's just a fact of life. HOW CAN YOU NOT VOTE???? We are all currently complaining about the State of the Economy, Inflation, the WAR. Yet, all of these things are controlled by the ELECTED Officials.
Many say that those people don't have power over the economy. Really? Well WHO does? All of the decisions that have been made that have resulted in the Wall Street Fiasco were not made by the Lobbiests. The lobbiests gave money and opinions to the ELECTED Politicians who then Voted on the laws, regulations etc. We ELECTED these people!
OK no more Ranting! :)
If you live in South Davidson County, Nippers' Corner area, Holt Woods, Bradford Hills, Lenox Village you're probably used to voting at the Edmondson Pike Library. Don't go there. In early voting you can vote at ANY of the locations. Many of them have had hour long waits already. A little known place is just over a mile down the road. Woodson Chapel has EARLY VOTING. Follow the signs around to the back. There are NO people holding the candidated signs and I had absolutly NO WAIT.
Woodson Chapel is located on Edmondson Pike just South of Old Hickory Blvd. Easy in Easy out. Tell them I sent you. Just Kidding. Go Vote!

Make me proud!

Location, Location, Location are still the buzz words in Real Estate. BUT, if you really want to get your house sold for top dollar, in a timely fashion, you MUST think Location, Price, Condition.
Living in Nashville Tennessee and not being a Titans Football fan is worse than living in Chicago and not rooting for the Bears! So if you're not one of those lucky people sporting good season tickets,
I have the next best thing for you!
7295 Sugarloaf Drive, Nashville TN 37211
Located in the Sugar Valley Subdivision, right next to Lenox Village in South Nashville, and just minutes to Nipper's Corner, Brentwood, Cool Springs and all of Middle Tennessee's interstates!
4 Bedrooms and over 3500 square feet of beautiful Almost New living space! OK, I know you're saying...
Show me the Movie Room!
Close those curtains! It's game time!!!!!
O.K. There has to be more to the house than movies and games. Check out the 2 story great room and the oversized private fenced backyard. Anyone who knows the South Nashville, Brentwood TN area knows how hard it is to get a backyard that looks anywhere near this nice! And don't forget the incredible amount of space for the money. This house is only $280,000!

I just got off the phone with the most incredible person.
I come into the office early to do things w/out being interrupted. It also gives me time to go to AR and read other peoples posts. I admit I'm a newbie. AND I'm a little afraid of blogging.
I taught a class last year to new agents about marketing and farming. I told them about my experience in Chicago, where I first got my license to sell real estate. I was so afraid of doing something wrong that I spent my first year learning. I didn't sell a house but I got my GRI and learned a lot. My point was You don't have to know everything. Just get out there and do it.
Back to blogging...
I am reading this great post by Margaret Rome in technology about what she uses. Her tech toys are very common you know a laptop, digital camera (that she can plug right into her laptop) etc.
For example:
She uses a Laptop
This is my set up
Hey! Don't make fun, the keyboard and mouse are wireless!
She uses a Blackberry or Treo something:
Me? I have a camara phone.
It takes pictures, I swear!
Her blog sounds like she was teaching this class last week. I'm thinking OMG when am I going to get with the program!!!???
OK now this is where it gets good. I scroll down and she posted this TWO YEARS AGO! Hello, Connie, is anyone home? I see the light is on....
so I make a quick comment and admit my inadequacy, failings, ineptness need I continue...
A few minutes late my phone rings " Hi Connie, this is Margaret. I had to read your comment twice" did I want to crawl under a rock or what!
HAPPY ENDING TO THIS STORY... I've made a new friend and contact. I hired an Newer agent last month to help bring me in to the current age and with a little input from Margaret Rome, I hope, I might actually figure this out.
