A never-fail party recipe

A never-fail party recipe

Looking for a healthy recipe that makes you look like a gourmet cook? Look no further. The tuna in this dish is rich in lean protein and heart-healthy omega 3 fatty acids. Combined with avocados, which are high in monounsaturated fat, potassium, and the antioxidant lutein, it truly becomes a super-meal. And though it’s a very simple recipe, you can make it look fancy: When I have friends over, I put each serving in a martini glass. Try it at your next get-together — I guarantee you’ll have a hit on your hands!

Asian-style Spicy Tuna

Serves: 4

Total Time: About 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 ounce) filets of tuna
  • 4 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • Nonstick olive oil or Canola oil cooking spray
  • 3 tablespoons black sesame seeds
  • 1 large avocado
  • 3 tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

Cooking instructions:
  1. Place the fresh, raw tuna filets in a Ziploc bag. Pour soy sauce into bag, allowing it to coat the tuna. Let sit in refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill or a pan (if you’re cooking them on the stove) to high heat. Coat the surface of the grill or pan with several sprays of nonstick cooking spray. Cook the filets 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach desired doneness (typically, spicy tuna filets are seared and remain pink or rare in the middle, but you can cook longer if you wish).
  3. Remove from grill and dice into chunks or cubes. Mix tuna pieces with the mayonnaise and chili powder. Sprinkle on black sesame seeds.
  4. Chop avocado into bite-sized chunks and mix in with tuna mixture.
  5. Divide into four even portions and serve in martini glasses or other glass containers.

This recipe is great served alongside mixed greens or a seaweed salad.

Life Goes On

Life Goes On!!!!

Life is too short..
Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness..
Laugh when u can, apologize when you should, and let go of what you can't change..
Love deeply and forgive quickly..
Take chances, give everything, and have no regrets..
Life is too short to be unhappy..
You have to take the good with the bad, smile when you're sad, love what you've got, and always remember what you had..
Always forgive, but never forget..
Learn from your mistakes, but never regret..
People change and things go wrong, but always remember
Life goes on

discover how to say the same message to your prospect but use words causing a more positive feeling

discover how to say the same message to your prospect but use words causing a more positive feeling

1. Sell or Sold

Instead say: Help, acquire

Prospects do not want to be sold, as it feels bad. Instead use the other words to cause the feeling of partnership in the process.

2. Cost, Price, Selling Price, List Price

Instead say: Investment, amount

When you use cost or price, prospects immediately internally visualize their money flying out of their pockets. An investment however is something that puts money BACK into their pockets.

3. Down Payment, Deposit

Instead say: Initial investment or amount

Down payment speaks of a long series of never ending payments. Initial investment speaks of taking their first step towards a worthwhile goal.

4. Buy or Pay

Instead say: Own

When you say buy or pay, prospects think of handing their money over to you. But when you say own, they feel they are acquiring value and the sense of personal ownership causes them to move in your direction.

5. Deal

Instead say: Opportunity

The word deal makes valuable items sound like a low-end used car. Rather use the word opportunity as it brings your prospect into the process. It also is a higher quality sound to their ears.

6. Contract

Instead say: Paperwork, agreement or form

The word contract causes the prospect to think of being obligated for a long period of time, with potential legal battles if they want out of the contract.

7. Monthly Payment

Instead say: Monthly investment or amount

Prospect's hate paying a bill and when you use the words 'monthly payment', this is the exact feeling you cause them to experience. But when you say 'monthly investment', there's a benefit for making the investment, causing the feeling of reward to emerge within the prospect.

8. Referral

Instead say: Personal friend

When asking a client for a referral, do not use the word referral, as it is impersonal. Rather use 'personal friend' as this implies relationship. Then add this sentence whenever you ask for a personal friend.

"You can count on me making sure they receive only the best in personal service."

When you say this sentence, do so with sincerity in your voice.

9. Customer

Instead say: Client

Retail stores have customers. The word conveys the message of a one-time sale. Rather you want to use client, conveying the message of a lifelong relationship. It also speaks of a higher quality relationship as compared to customer.
