Today, is a beautiful day here in Central Oregon. What, work on a day like today??? Yes, I guess so!!! I'm working here in La Pine at RE/MAX Sunset Realty. I'm having a very hard time focusing on the tasks that need to get done today. The view from my desk is catching my eye everytime I turn my head. Here is a glance at what I'm viewing today.Mount Bachlor

So, now you can see why I'm having such a hard time working today. Mount Bachelor in the distance, birds and geese circling and landing on the water. Horses running, eating and playing in the pastures. What a view on a beautiful day here in La Pine.

Well I better get back to work, otherwise I will be here all night.

To, everyone I hope your having a GREAT DAY!!!

Central Oregon's High Desert Museum.

The High Desert Museum

If you have came to Central Oregon for a vacation, more than likely you've heard. You have to take a day and visit The High Desert Museum. The Museum is located 3 miles south of Bend and 18 miles north of La Pine.

Central Oregon Museum and Real Estate.

The High Desert Museum will take you on a trip through time and show you how "The Spirit of The West" has evolved. The museum is for all ages, there are activities that everyone will love.

"Spirit of the West" tells the history of settlement in the region with a European perspective. Getting to use your hands and fill your Memory full with presentations that explain the impact of White settlement on Native Americans.

This exhibit includes cultures and traditions retained by Native Americans almost in spite of settlement and reservations.

There's plenty to discover outdoors as well, including live animals exhibits, a nature trail, an exhibit explaining the role of forests in our high desert climate, a sawmill, a mustang corral and the "Wind, Earth & Fire Trail" where visitors learn the pros and cons of "prescribed burns" in forest areas.

The High Desert Museum is highly recommended from my family to yours.

I Made My Decision To Move Also.

Thesa Chambers came to my office at John L. Scott in La Pine, Oregon. She came with a wealth of knowledge to share with her new co-workers, I absorbed every bit of it. For the last few months I had been feeling that there has got to be more out there for my business. I just wasn't sure? This was the only Real Estate Office I had been in. Just when I thought, things were going to come full circle; I'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. I turned around and Thesa told me I don't feel right about my move to John L. Scott. My heart sank; I said is there anything I can do to change your mind? Can you give it a couple more weeks to see if things feel better for you? She said, I'm not sure I can wait that long.

See when Thesa came, She showed me there is a lot more for me to lean and that my goals are reachable in my Real Estate career. She gave me HOPE that I had not been feeling. I thought, well maybe I need to just go get a job and let real estate fall to the wayside. She inspired me to move forward and keep my chin up.

It seems with in the next couple of days, Thesa was feeling more and more uneasy about here move to our office. Then she told me, I'm going to make another move. My heart sank again, I new she needed to go for herself and her clients. I had already told myself I've had my eyes opened and I would be moving also. Today, I'm proud to say THANKS TO THESA CHAMBERS I am proud to be RED, WHITE, and BLUE.
