It is reported that the median income is $83,682 I have seen the growth in this county first hand as a resident for 12 years. I am so impressed with everything that is taking place here. Jobs, schools, construction. It would definitely be somewhere in Georgia you might want to consider when making a move to this area. Forsyth County is located in the Northern Suburbs of Atlanta with a 40 minute commute to downtown Atlanta.

Fairfax County in Virginia came in first with a median income of $100,318.

I have found a great website that I send to my buyers when they are looking for information on schools in the area. www.schoolmatters.com. It is very easy to access the information on the school you want to research.

My neighborhood just changed elementary schools from Settles Bridge Elementary, Georgia to Johns Creek Elementary, Georgia and so there is no data yet on the new school. Fortunately my son goes there so I can vouch for it! We have great schools in the South Forsyth area if any agents out there are working with buyers that are looking for a great school district in the Northern Suburbs of Atlanta.

I just want to tell everyone about a wonderful golf club subdivision in South Forsyth , Georgia called Olde Atlanta Club. I have lived here for 12 years and I love it. My children say it is like living in a resort!! How fun is that??? We have a very active golf club, leisure and ALTA tennis, a great clubhouse for functions and a wonderful swimming pool with a very active swim team. It has something for everyone!!! There are many clubs- book-clubs, gardening clubs, poker clubs to name a few. They have committees to help organize activities for children and adults.

The schools are wonderful in the area. The fantastic new school Johns Creek Elementary, the exceptional Riverwatch Middle School and the brand new Lambert High School.
