Real Estate researching is most definitely tedious and time consuming, but it often brings about solid results if you do it the right way. I say this because these past couple of weeks I have been researching everything from market trends and reports to the for sale markets in prospective and neighboring towns. Through my research I came to find that South Windsor has many beautiful properties for sale, which are all at an affordable price.

Below I have listed the specific properties I have personally viewed through my research.

The first house is located on 140 Lawrence Road. This colonial split level house offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. The listing price is set at an affordable $249,900. This house contains vaulted ceilings, granite kitchen countertops and a large private deck. The house is also suited with updated windows and gleaming hardwood floors. This is a great family home located in a excellent cul-de-sac neighborhood.

The second house is located on 1284 Main Street. This colonial style house sits on a private 2 acre lot and offers 4 bedrooms, 4 baths. The listing price is set at a resonable $414,900. This house includes hardwood floors and granite countertops in the kitchen. The living room contains large french doors which lead to the large form dining room. One of the bedrooms can be used as an office or nursery. The house also boasts a spacious backyard with a covered patio and a stunning inground pool.

The third house is located on 770 King Street. This white colonial style home offers 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths. The listing price is set at $499,000. As you can see real estate research does pay off. These 3 properties I just listed were affoprdable and stunning with many great features. For having been in the real estate game for quite sometime I have seen my fair share of great developments with great houses, as well as terrible developments with terrible houses. I have recently been doing some research on a fairly new development titled "Cassotta Lane". This development offers ten Ranch and/or Colonial style homes which have a starting price of only $338,000. However, three homes located in this development have been sold leaving Cassotta Lane with only 7 properties for sale instead of ten.

After reviewing this development in person I see a lot of potential. These property lots are fairly sized to fit the price range of the houses. The houses all offer considerable driveway space as well as garages to store your vechicles.

One property I would like to mention is 5 Cassotta Lane. This is a 3 bedroom, 2.1 bath colonial style house. It offers gorgeous hardwood floors to compliment the open floor plan. The house also comes with Central air and baseboard heating as well as a spot for you to do laundry.

Suffield School District recently received a rank of 36th out of 165 school districts located in Connecticut.
Suffield Middle School has also been experiencing some recent success as well. Suffield Middle School ranks 44th out of 258 middle schools located in Connecticut followed by Suffield High School ranking 36th out of 191 high school in Connecticut. The Town of Suffield elementary schools have also been receiving great results. Suffield A. Spaulding elementary school ranked 36th out of 165 elementary schools followed by Suffield Intermediate school ranking 127th out of 530 school statewide.

It is obvious for most to see that the Suffield School District is on the rise. These recent figures display that Suffield Schools are some of the best schools located in Connecticut. For recent newlyweds and/ or parents the Town of Suffield is a place to look into. This town has a great school district in which your child will experience a great eduction before he/ she moves onto college. If you want that great education for your child the Town of Suffield is the place to be!!

The Town of Suffield recently had some new properties appear that are definitely worth looking at. This new property is located on 10 Cassotta Lane. It is considered a One-level ranch, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with 6 rooms total. The property is listed at $359,000. Not to mention, but this property is not more then 5 miles from each one of the schools!!

There will be two pumpkin related programs taking place this month in Suffield, Connecticut. The programs will be run through the Kent Memorial Library. The first event will take place on October 19th at 3:30 pm. Children between the grades of kindergarten- 4th grade are welcome to come. They also suggest that the children bring their own pumpkin and smock for some Halloween fun. The second event will take place on October 26th at 3:30 pm as well. Children in grades 5 and up are welcome to come and carve a pumpkin. All of the pumpkins and tools will be provided.

With all this fun happening soon, whats a better place to live then Suffield, Connecticut?

That is the question....

Seems that the answer is tied to people that have a dog or do not.... You guessed it. The people that don't have a dog typically do not want a DOG PARK. And why would they? Dogs owners agree that they treat their pets like children, and one of the family.... After all a dog is mans best friend.

So the dog owners take majority! Dog parks around the area are becoming very popular as they offer a place for dogs to play, relax, and socialize with others... And yes, the people socialize too!

So let the parks be enjoyed and for the non park supporters, all I can say is relax and know deep in your heart that every dog gets his day!

South Windsor is a fabulous town and has a state of the art dog park that is very inviting to all walks of canine.... They even have a separate area for large and small dogs!

I personally do not have a dog, however I enjoy seeing people gather and like that they have a nice place to take their dogs that is safe and relaxing.
