Ten OaksIs your home just bursting at the seams? It doesn't really take long, does it? Before you know it every inch of your house is full of your stuff, your spouse’s items and (what can sometimes be the bulk of the stuff) your kids' toys.

Well, if you're tired of living everyday over-crowded and overwhelmed, Highland Homes has the solution for you. We are now offering pre-sale opportunities at Ten Oaks located in Zephyrhills, Fla.; but that's not even the best part. Ten Oaks is a neighborhood with several existing homes constructed in the neo-traditional style by other builders. We will continue with the community’s established style by offering new floorplan elevations that complement existing homes.

Buyers will find that these homes will accommodate any lifestyle. Available plans will offer buyers three to five bedrooms, two or three bathrooms and will range from 1,210 to 2,827 square feet. If you’ve always dreamed of waking up each morning to view the sun rising above a beautiful lake, we have you covered. Ten Oaks features a community lake with lakefront homesites.

Keeping the Home Deficit at Bay in Florida

constructionThe negative effects of the current state of the housing market can be seen all throughout the U.S. according to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) report, “Extent of Underbuilding in the Single-Family Housing Market.” However, Florida home builder, Highland Homes, is working to keep the Florida home deficit at bay by maintaining their homebuilding pace.

The NAHB study found that the nation is currently in an underbuilt state, meaning that there is an excess demand for new construction. Although Florida is one of the states that have been affected by the housing market downturn, Highland Homes is working to alleviate this by building affordable new homes in Tampa Bay, the Orlando area, Lakeland, Winter Haven, Davenport, Auburndale, St. Cloud, Zephyrhills, Leesburg, Bartow, Ellenton and the Riverview area.

Located in many of our communities across Florida, the Casa Key II floorplan offers buyers luxury and value. With its high ceilings, ceramic tile floors and screened, covered lanai area, you’ll find that this home is perfect for entertaining this holiday season.

Plus, we offer buyers down payment assistance and financing programs so you can move into your new home for only $99 out of pocket. Visit the Highland Homes website for more information about our affordable homes.

Pasco County Homes Selling Fast Due to 4% Agent Commission

Florida new homes agent Cheryl Whalen-GonzalezPasco County is the place to live! Highland Homes has been building in Pasco County for almost two years now and has had great success during this time. News about Pasco County was positive recently when it was documented in the newspaper that Pasco County was one of the few counties in the State of Florida that held the value of homes much better than other areas of the country. More specifically it was the Zephyrhills area of Pasco County that was documented to have lost little value in the price of the homes over the past two to three years. This recent news caused several buyers to consider shopping for a new home in this area and Highland Homes was happy to help.

Highland Homes recently hired new home sales specialist, Cheryl Whalen-Gonzalez to manage the community, Greens of Hidden Creek just off Eiland Blvd in Zephyrhills and Cheryl had immediate success. July was Cheryl's first month as the Community Sales Manager and she was recently recognized as the Sales person of the month by Highland Homes. Not only was she the sales person of the month in July, but Cheryl was also recognized last week as the sales person of the month for August. Two months on the job and two consecutive months as the company's sales leader.

With Cheryl's personality her buyers continue to refer new business to her, which has helped her reached 8 sales for August and 5 for July. Combine those referrals with the renewed interest in the Zephyrhills area as being a good value and Highland Homes has a winning situation. So much so that that they have just purchased lots in another nearby community in Zephyrhills to begin selling once the Greens is sold out. With only 3 lots left in the Greens, Cheryl will be selling in the newest community immediately. Cheryl also credits here increase in sales to the 4% commission rate offered to Realtors. Realtors have been making their way to this area of Pasco after reading the news on Zephyrhills holding its value for homeowners.

Ten Oaks, the newest community in Pasco county for Highland Homes will offer several new elevations on their already, award winning floor plans. The company expects another success story from Ten Oaks with Cheryl as their Community Sales Manager. Watch for more upcoming news on this newest community.
