Those pesky bugs inside the outside light globes

Don't you just get tired of cleaning out those outside night light globes? I did and I thought 'what can I do to keep those bugs out and not have to clean them so regularly. If your light globes are anything like mine, they don't fit real tightly against the base thus allowing bugs, spiders, etc. to get in and die, piling up and eventually causing dimness in the light out put. Solution: go to the hardware store and get some 1/4 inch weatherstripping, the foam type with the paper back that covers the sticky surface. After cleaning out your globe for the last time, dry it thoroughly, fit the foam up to the inside of the fixture, (after cleaning the fixture surface also) (don't stretch it!) cut it, peel off the paper tape and stick it to the fixture where the globe will fit. Make fure the foam is sticking to the fixture. Place the globe up against the tape and fixture and tighten the globe carefully, but firmly. Wallaaa, the bugs can't get in and the lights will remain bright. While you are cleaning the fixture and you have the light bulb out, it makes sense to replace the bulbs also, with the coiled flourescent bulbs which don't use as much current nor do they give off as much heat. A win-win situation, except for the insects!!! When San Antonio Virtual Tours are produced, it doesn't show well when the outside lights are full of bugs or the night shots aren't as bright and crisp as they should be due to the forementioned problems. Business Cards, what to do with them

Do you have the problem I have? Keeping all those business cards in some kind of order? Here is my solution. First put the information in your data base/phone directory or whatever. Next take the first 12, set them on the glass of your printer with space at the bottom of each. There is room for more than 12, but 12 will allow for space at the bottom of each. Next make a copy of those on one sheet of paper. Take that sheet and put a page number on it and insert it into a plastic page protector. Insert that page into your 'business card' notebook. Take the business cards and 1) put them into a drawer, or 2) dispose of them! Now in you data base, make a column that indicates the page that the business card is on. You might even put the 'business' related to that person in your data base, phone number, or whatever you wish to make it useable.

What have you gained? Well, first of all, you don't have to shuffle business cards anymore looking for 'that one'.

Second, you can alphabetically list by name all those business cards and you can even group by business.

Third, you have room below the picture to make notes for future reference.

Fouth, in many cased, you have a picture of that person, in case you do call and need to refresh your memory.

Fifth, you don't need to buy those expensive business card holder plastice sleeves, that still you would have to search through to find 'that one'!

By putting the page number on, you don't have to alphabetize your stack each time you get a new card.

Best of all??? You are more organized, and as I am a 'z' personality, I need all the help I can get.

Need efficiency in your work?

It has finally happened. As of May 1, AlamoAreaVirtualTours has gone full time to better serve the San Antonio community and the surrounding area, including Uvalde, Del Rio, and Eagle Pass. It has been a dream in the making to become my own boss in which I can make the decisions, and innovate as I see fit. It will give me the time needed to market properly and build the business in an area that is ripe for expansion. With the help and great backing received from Real Tour Vision there can be no failure. <AlamoAreavirtualtours.com> is a little over a year old now and business is building. That was one of the factors in making the decision to go full time. You can’t efficiently market your business and accomplish a good business volume if you are giving someone else your 8 hours of prime time day rather than your customers. It would not do to tell your new customer that you couldn’t get to a shoot for a few days.

The inovations and technology of the Alamo Area Virtual Tour company and the pricing make it MORE than affordable compared to standard advertising. Check out our website and you're sure to agree that

"We have more of what it takes to make your time more efficent".

Roundtoits

The other day I wrote about 'Life gets in the Way'. Check my blog past. Now I want to talk about roundtoits. I wonder how many of you already know what a roundtoit is? Roundtoits are closely linked to 'Life getting in the way'. Many people have roundtoits in their lives, some of them big, some small, some expensive, some cheap. Having said that, I must state that a roundtoit is worthless!! A roundtoit is worth just about as much as a dream, especially a day-dream. Actually roundtoits are worth about as much as a wooden nickel. Some people actually give roundtoits to their friends, the friends that they know can handle it. Some people carry their roundtoits in their pockets to remind themselves. So OK, what is a roundtoit? Just that, it is something that you want/need to do but don't have the time now, so you will eventually get ROUND TO IT! Now when I offer you all the positives in having a San Antoinio Virtual Tour done, and you say, yeah, that sounds good, but I don't/can't take the time now, but I want/will look into it, you have just generated another roundtoit. Some people get so bogged down with their roundtoits, that they never get ahead. They're too busy because "Life Gets In The Way".
