GMAC A bank holding company? Hmmm... GM tested, TARP approved!
According to the NY times GMAC's newly formation into a bank holding company will allow them to tap into the government bailout money. This does make sence for GM as they will reap the benefits from it by securing loans for their consumers and their dealers.
GM did however have to give up it's 49 percent in holdings to less than 10 percent.
What is your opinion, is this a smart move on GM's for the Auto Company? Should taxpayers have to bailout GMAC?
Today December 26th, considered Black Friday #2 by reltailers, the "SAVVY SHOPPER" can cash in on discounts anywhere from 10 to 75 percent; and I plan to do just that, as I left some things off of my Chrismas list purposely in hopes to find a great deal after Christmas.
I thought I would share these useful websites with my AR friends who would also like to take advantage of some really awesome deals, rebates, and sales.

If this is not enough to keep you busy for hours...you can always go shopping the old fashioned way, fighting the crowds and spend most of your day in long lines.
Wishing everyone a fabulous Black Friday!
Happy Holidays!

Becareful what you wish for...yesterday with the snow storm chilling me to the bones. I made a careless wish for warmer weather. So let me clarify what exactly it is I was wishing for...in attempts to clear up this rain, and save a few folks from slipping and sliding in freezing rain.
Warmer Weather Defined: Sunny, Blue Skies, temperatures in the mid 60's preferred, but wouldn't complain if the temptures hit an all time high of 70ish...Still wishing for much warmer Weather this Christmas Eve here in Genesee County, Michigan.
Merry Christmas.....December 24th.......Shawn
So when is it enough snow...Tonight is Christmas Eve, Eve...and more snow is expected to top a 10 inch base...and what Michiganders do here in all of this snow will give you a brain freeze? Last year 3784 Snow Angels were made by Michigan Tech Students breaking the Guinness Book of World Records...However, that isn't the craziest thing the locals do here in the snow...try breaking through the frozen ice for a yearly water skiing show..or if you are into art the Frankenmuth Ice Carving Championship will surely amaze you. For me it is time to melt down with a nice cup of hot chocolate and dream of warmer weather...Happy Holidays...December 23, 2008.
