I thought I'd do a localism post on a local Jazz Star. It happens to be my husband also. He is workng on a 3rd Jazz CD and
it's really something to listen to. You can go to www.richardharrislive.com and listen to 4 of his new tunes. One was
dedicated and written for me, "A Song for G"!
We also have slot machines in our town. It brings money in for charities and our taxes are lower in our town as a result of
the gaming. Not bad. :) Come visit us.

Okay, so I'm a sucker for a contest. This one ends on September 4th but it is so worth it.

The first of many will be school supply list in Calvert County.
First here is a list of all the schools in Maryland. You can clickk on the school of your choice and get the supply lists. How Cool is that. Here is the web link: http://www.school-supply-list.com/states/maryland/
Calvert County Public Schools: The cool part is you can click on this following link and get grades Kindergarten thru 12th grade. Once you pick a grade you can email it to anyone. It's really quite neat. :)
Don't mind the numbering, when copying the items, #1 is repeated twice. Therefore, for Kindergarten, for example, you need 10 items, and so forth.
Below are Grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade. I will blog 6th-8th and 9th-12th in seperate posts. :)
