Welcome to Cambria in Lombard!
This small townhome community is one of our most popular places to live in Lombard!
As of February 19, 2009 there are 5 properties ranging in price from 219,000 to 240,000 that are available. They all offer at least two bedrooms and two baths. All have one car attached garages. A small association fee makes this oh so affordable if you're looking for a great place with an excellent location. It's the best time in years to buy a home! Don't forget the $7500 tax credit that may be available for you!

Cambria residents take pride in their community and it shows when driving through the area.
The pond and waterfall are one more feature of beautiful Cambria!

LOMBARD FARMERS MARKET
Are you afraid to eat tomatoes right now? With all the talk on the news about the tainted tomaotes and peppers, why not visit your local farmers market!

These farmers go to great lenghts to make sure their fruit and vegetables are perfect. No worries when you buy from them.

Our Lombard Farmers Market is every Tuesday from 8:00 AM till 1:00 PM on the corner of Elizabeth and St. Charles Road in downtown Lombard.
They have pastries, breads, oils, coffee, (although it was 85 degrees here today, I skipped the coffee and got water!), etc. Very very reasonable prices too!

Just another reason Lombard is such a great town to live in!
If you're thinking of moving to the area, please feel free to give me a call at 630-479-4673 or visit my website at www.idamccarthy.com.

CALLING ALL DOGS, BIG OR SMALL, SHORT OR TALL!
Bring your owners to downtown Lombard, Saturday May 17, 2008 and join in the Lombard 5K Mutt Strutt.

Treats and water will be passed out along the way. If you would like to be a volunteer, call the number or visit the website shown below.
Another great reason to live here! Let your buddy spend some time on the prairie path, they'll love it no matter how big or small. (Are you always saying you want to exercise more?) Or enjoy the "one mile puppy option". The prairie path was MADE for the dogs, so come on down!

LOMBARD ILLINOIS - PRAIRIE PATH
Taking a break from real estate today, I've been extremely busy, this market is definitely turning around! There are many great deals here, and it seems the buyers are finally getting it!
It's time to take a day and kick back and enjoy our 60 degree day here! The weather has been extremely chilly and it's gorgeous right now!
If you're not familiar with Lombard Illinois, this is just one of many perks we have here, the Illinois Prairie Path.
It's a 62 mile walking/bike path, 25 miles west of Chicago.
Built in the 1960'S,it was the Chicago, Aurora and Elgin electric railroad. The Prairie Path was the first "rail to trail" conversion of it's kind in the country. The volunteer movement that created it, led by legendary Chicago area naturalist, May Thielgaard Watts, sparked a national trend.
The path starts in Maywood and ends in Elgin. Certain parts have the old fashioned streetlights and it's soooo pretty at night all lit up.
I walk everyday on the path, but today I lingered along enjoying the day, taking pictures, looking at the trees finally blooming for spring, and catching some critters just hanging out.
Lombard is a great place to live! I'll share more of Lombard's great features, but today, I'm taking it easy.
You should too!

Turnberry Manor - Roselle Illinois
If you're a first time buyer looking in Roselle Illinois, this subdivision may be just what you're looking for. It's one of the nicest places to live in Dupage County. Located in the acclaimed Lake Park school district this community offers it's residents a train station, baseball field, a great park, and plenty of parking! Sometimes we find a great area to live, and no parking spots for guests! No need to worry about that here.
I thought these "snowy" pictures would be fun to look at in the summer, we can all have a good laugh. But not today, because it snowed here this morning!
Prices range from the 200,000's for a two bedroom townhome with a one car garage. The association fee is under 175.00 a month. There is also Pembroke Estates right across the street which is also great, prices starting a little higher. Pembroke Estates townhomes offer basements and two car garages.
I have listed and sold many townhomes in this community and have recently put together a website just for the residents of the community. Feel free to browse the site, www.turnberrybuzz.com.
If you would like more information on this great community, please feel free to give me a call at 630-479-4673 or visit my website at www.idamccarthy.com
