You know I'm seeing the signs for baseball sign ups and I hear the excitement in the air, baseball season is just around the corner and I can't wait to see what happens this year. We have several friends who now have children playing so we might just have to make it out to the ball field.

I'm a Canton home inspector for several reasons. One of them is so that I can attend and be a part of my children's lives. Both of my kids are very active in sports and we are once again gearing up for the Cherokee County baseball season. I am a transplant from Washington, PA and I moved here in 1985 due to a lack of work in the construction industry. I have always been in some type of construction, from working for builders to owning my own business. I love owning my own company for the added time that I get to spend with my family and at church. In 1990 I met Bonnie, my wife, she's a native Georgian and had never been north until she married me. She worked in a corporate job working for a prosthetic company until about 3 years ago and she retired because of the drive to downtown Atlanta every day. She now drives a school bus, and we always have stories to laugh about at dinner time. Kids are so interesting. We have been married 16 years, 17 in January and we have two wonderful kids. Daniel is 15, just turned 15 in September and right now is the family chauffeur. He is one that I don't believe will really have to learn to drive, he just knows how and does really great at it. He is also learning to fly airplanes and loves it. He is part of a group (he works on the ground crew in exchange for flight time) called the Tiger-flights. They're located in Rome and give kids free airplane rides, you should check them out. My daughter is Breana and she is going to be ten in Dec. and she is a joy and a daddy's girl. She has played baseball since she was 3 and has been first baseman on a boys' team for the last 3 years. She has a glove that is incredible. There is nothing girly girl about her, even though my wife has tried. I remember playing ball and my Dad not being able to be there and I can say that in the years of my son's and my daughter's life, I have missed very little. For that I am very thankful. I work mainly in the Canton, Woodstock, Alpharetta, Cumming and Roswell areas but I do travel to the North Georgia area, simply because it's a great area and my in-laws live up there, so it's a great excuse to stop in and visit. :-)
