Frontier Park Kite Festival, Naperville Illinois

The Naperville Park District will host the third annual Frontier Park Kite Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7, at Frontier Park, 3380 Cedar Glade Drive. The event features 40 to 60 foot kites and demonstrations by Chicago Kite, Sparling Kite Entertainment, Chromatic Kites and Holl Entertainment. The event is free. Wristbands can be purchased for $5 that allow access to climb aboard an inflatable rocket ship, a penny carnival, moon jumping and a climbing wall. Northbrook-On-Ice, May 9-11

Northbrook Real Estate Spectacular costumes, exciting production numbers and wonderful music set the stage for more than 400 skaters at this year’s Northbrook-On-Ice; Celebrating four decades of skaters, their coaches, choreographers and costume coordinators who have been at the heart of the annual production. The shows expect to draw more than 5,000 spectators for the official culmination of the Northbrook Park District skating program each Spring.
