Does it depend on the confidence the Realtor actually has in their ability to actually sell a home? Does it depend on what they plan to do to sell the home? I would be afraid of the Realtor that says they will sell for so much less than the average price. What am I giving up? Why do they not think they are worth as much as their competitors?
I would not want the person earning the least money possible advising me on my largest investment... But that may just be me... I am looking to have the most professional person list my biggest investment, it doesn't even come down to price.
Discounting Realtor fees sounds counter productive to me... Who is going to work harder? The person working to sell your $500,000 house making 7% or $35,000.00 or the Realtor that stands to make 1% or $5,000.00? All while you continue to make $3500 a month payments!
I am a Mortgage Planner. I advise products and strategies to people that are usually making the largest purchase they will likely make this decade. I do not discount fees. I know that even with my normal fee my client will be better off with me than going to some credit union or bank where they are getting their advice from someone that just moved off the teller line last week.
Well Good luck selling!

Our kids are three and two. They will never live in a world without iChat and Facetime! When they want to “Call” their cousins, they actually expect to see them face-to-face! How funny! When I hand my cell phone to my kids to talk to Grandma and Grandpa they don’t know what to do… They say: “I can’t see them,” and hand it back, like something is wrong!
And now Space Travel with Sir Richard Branson’s new company! They are already going into space with a few flights a day! Amazing!
Other normal things my kids will take for granted:
•Ultra thin 3D Televisions
•Amazing Video Games
•Microwaves
•Home Computers
•Home Printing
•Paperless offices
•Virtual workdays
•iPods
•DVD Players
•Flash Drives
•Cartoons EVERY DAY ALL DAY!
•TiVo/DVRs
•Online Banking, Learning, and Shopping
•Blogs
•Cell Phones
•GPS!
•Overnight delivery
•iRobots to clean the floors vs. vacuuming
and so much more…
Do we live in an amazing time or what! I love that they get to take these things for granted! Are we the Jetsons yet?

Have you ever met someone at a networking event and then met twenty more people? A week later you don’t know who the heck those people are… and they don’t remember you because they met twenty people too!
Well, I jot a quick note on the back of their card to jog my memory later about the conversation we had. This note also will help the prospect remember you too!
For Example:
You can say something like: “Hi, it’s me, Ingrid, we met a week ago at the benefit for the arts, we talked about your dog bruiser… remember?”
Note taking on the back of the business cards makes it easier to follow up later and makes for better connections.
Well AR Friends, I hope your year ends strong!

Today I am attending a Broker's Open House in Shadowlawn and Beach Borough.
There are eight single family homes all walking distance from the beach. The following Brokers will be there: Prudential Towne Realty, Keller Williams Realty, Aweigh Real Estate, ERA Atkinson Realty, Pyle Realty, and Re/Max Alliance.
For more information call me! 757-270-1578.
There are refreshments and prizes, but the homes are the real attraction.
