First time home buyers can be a lot of fun to work with or not..... What I love about first time home buyers is their enthusiasm. When they are ready - they are READY!
Over the last few years, I've met several versions of first time home buyers - the ones that want to purchase the first home they see and you have to hold them back and encourage them to see a couple more properties to at least confirm that the first one is the ONE! Then, there are the ones that can't make up their minds, their lease is up, they don't want to renew and absolutely must, must buy but keep on procrastinating. I call those my what ifs.
And, then there are those that know their wants and needs, accept the fact that they can't have it all and since its their first home are willing to compromise. These first time home buyers usually start with a townhouse sometimes new sometimes a resale. Live in it for 3 to 5 years and then purchase a single family detached two storey property for their growing family.
