Jon Costas was elected mayor of Valparaiso, Indiana in 2003. Introduced to politics by his father, former state senator William P. Costas, Jon Costas first graduated from Valparaiso High School and eventually went on to law school and succeeded in establishing a law practice.

What you may not know is that Jon Costas is also known for singing and playing guitar. You have a chance to listen to his music on Wednesday, November 19, from 7-9pm at Evelyn Bay Coffee Company. Mark November 6, 2009 on your calendar because that is the day the Vienna Boys Choir will be in Valparaiso, Indianaperforming at the Valparaiso University's Chapel of Resurrection. With only a few performances scattered throughout the United States, Valparsaiso, Indiana and Valparaiso University are fortunate to have them here.

In existence since 1948, the Vienna Boys Choir is made up of about 100 boys ranging in ages from 14 - 20. The choir is divided into 4 tour groups to provide around 300 performances a year.
