This would be the 5th short sale we’ve closed for our sellers! We’ve been able to help our clients (well now I would consider them close friends) get through this hardship.
Their hardship began when the husband lost his job – decreasing not only their income, but also dramatically increasing their expenses. In addition, the wife faced some medical conditions that reduced their already undersized incomes. With the huge curtailment of income, increase in expenses, and inability to find any renters – our sellers were in a pretty overwhelming situation.
It wasn’t until our sellers came across our website that they felt a bit of reassurance that we can help them through this tough time. We are so happy to have helped our sellers short sale their 5th home! Our sellers are so excited to have this whole ordeal behind them, so that they can move forward with their lives.
Moments like this remind our team of what our purpose is. We aren’t here just to sell or buy homes, we’re here to help people! Buying and selling a home is a challenging and sometimes emotional process. Our job is to make this transition as smooth as possible on our clients.
Our clients are relieved to be able to close this chapter of their lives and are excited to get a fresh start. We are just as happy to have helped them through this long, but worthwhile process!
With the recent events in Japan, it is amazing to see how quickly non-profits and corporations alike, came together to support a greater cause. From living social creating a daily deal to match every donation to Red Cross, to Forever 21 donating all profits they received for a day -- it is fair to say that we are all trying to do our part to help with the relief.
Here is a new opportunity I found to help with the relief. Grooveshark has offered to give a year’s subscription to Grooveshark Anywhere service (normally $108 a year) for free, if you donate $20 to the Japan Red Cross society.
If you have not heard of Grooveshark yet, it is an AMAZING online music search engine and streaming service. Here are a few of the features that I have come to know and love about Grooveshark or GS, as some people call it.

·GS allows you to upload your music and access from any computer where you have an internet connection
·GS allows you to search for music in the huge amazing online library.
·GS allows you to add songs from the online library into your personal library.
·GS allows you to mark favorites and create playlists.
·GS allows you to share your music library with your friends. You can share what you are listening to with your friends and you can see what they are listening to as well!
These are all things that I love about just the Grooveshark free service! The Grooveshark Anywhere service allows you to have some other great features, including:
·GS Anywhere allows you to access all of Grooveshark’s capabilities on your mobile phone
·GS Anywhere is free from advertisements
·GS Anywhere has a desktop application, so you do not have to have a web browser open.
Look at me, I sound like an advertisement for Grooveshark! In all honesty though, this is a great program to use, I use it every day at work and home. Now, with my $20 donation to the Japan Red Cross Society, I can now use it on my phone as well!
For $20, you can not only help support Japan relief, but you can also get a discount on a great service. This is a win-win situation that I hope you do not pass up!

They contacted us just TWO WEEKS before the foreclosure date and we managed to postpone the foreclosure date and get the short sale approved!

Yes, San Diego Restaurant Week is back!
On the week of Jan 16 – Jan 21, over 160 restaurants will offer three course menus for the fixed price of $20, $30, or $40. This offers you to the chance to try out new restaurants for a lower price. Visit the website to check if that restaurant “you’ve been meaning to try” is on there or just try something you haven’t heard of – either way, I encourage you to participate in this event!
Experience San Diego’s finest restaurants for the fraction of the price! I always try to make it out to at least one restaurant during the week. Hopefully, I can make it to two this year! I haven’t looked through the whole list yet, but Crab Catcher and 1500 Ocean are high on my list. Are there any restaurants that you haven’t had a chance to try?
