About Me:

From nursing to teaching to running a marketing company, I've done each one. All of these professions have helped me develop a deep commitment to the quality of service I provide. Born in London, England, I came to the United States when I was only one year old. I was raised in upstate NY, lived in St. Louis, Missouri for five years and moved to Florida 36 years ago. I received a Bachelor's degree from USF in Tampa where I majored in math and science. For the past 30 years I've worked as a real estate broker in the Tampa Bay area. I'm honored to be ranked in the top 5% of all real estate agents in the United States. Together with my Swedish husband, Jan, we live in northeast St. Petersburg. When I have the time, I enjoy tennis at The Racquet Club of St. Petersburg and also relax by nurturing my many orchids.

This, coupled with my thorough grasp of the financial and legal aspects of real estate, enables me to assist my customers in getting maximum benefits. Because of my long experience in the local marketplace, I have numerous contacts to rely upon for expertise in all aspects of home ownership - repairs, remodeling, legal assistance, maintenance, etc. My motto is to be of service not just during the transaction but for long afterwards.

I have the Certified Residential Specialist designation which has been obtained by less than 5% of all real estate agents. Every CRS is a real estate professional equipped with a special expertise, thanks to advanced study in listing, selling, investment, taxes and more. I also have the International Marketing Specialist designation which indicates additional training in marketing property for and to non-U.S. residents and the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation which is held by less than 5% of all real estate agents nationwide. In addition to these designations I also have obtained the Quality Service Certified (QSC) certification which is held by less than 1% of all agents nationwide. This designation requires the continued delivery of exceptional customer service satisfaction, as measured by the QSC organization through surveys to all my customers. The most recent designation I've been awarded is that of SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) which indicates that I've had additional education and experience in working with Seniors.

Areas of Expertise

I believe that I'm most knowledgeable about the waterfront homes in this area. That might be because I've always lived on the water. However, my numerous sales have also included non-waterfront homes and condominiums. I have worked with generations within a family which means that needs and wishes have been quite varied. This has forced me to become familiar with a huge variety of price ranges and communities. I've covered Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee and Pasco counties, all of which are within a 30 minute drive of downtown St. Petersburg or Tampa.
