Who we are

The Adkins Florida Group consists of James E. Adkins II and James P. Adkins, a father-son team. Together we have over 50 years experience in real estate, law, development, construction and technology. As a team we bring a great deal of information and knowledge to any real estate transaction and we will most assuredly work toward your goals as diligently as if they were our own. James P. Adkins:

I was born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1978 and spentmost of my life traveling and living between Ashland, Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky and San Antonio, Texas. I graduated High School in 1996 and directly moved to Lexington, Kentucky to attend the University of Kentucky. After a fruitful scholastic career as a Wildcat, including a year-long work abroad program in Australia, I graduated with a B.A. in Geography in 2001.

Following graduation I moved to Bradenton, Florida and pursued a wonderfully demanding career in the field of construction engineering and surveying. After having managed the construction of 5 massive residential condominium towers in downtown Sarasota the real estate market dried up and I shifted career paths from construction engineering to cartography.

Traveling the world for 3 years managing digital mapping programs and living out of a suitcase soon became tiresome and I decided it was time to focus my energy on my long-time infatuation with real estate. I received my license, partnered up with my father forming the Adkins Florida Group, and hung my hat with Wagner Realty.

I am well versed in all aspects of real estate acquisition and sale and I am perpetually dedicated to making all your real estate dreams come true through a no-nonsense combination of hard work, technical ability, diligence, honesty, and integrity. I will exceed your expectations.

James E. Adkins II:

I have been a Licensed Florida Realtor with Wagner Realty for 3 years and have been a full-time resident of Bradenton, Florida for 10 years. During my time in Bradenton I have purchased, remodeled and leased several homes in San Remo Shores Subdivision. Before I moved permanently to Florida I was a resident of the wonderful state of Kentucky, where, for 25 years, I practiced real estate law and owned a title company. During those 25 years of practicing law I also found the time to become a dedicated land developer and involved myself in the construction, renovation and leasing of residential and commercial real estate. Additionally, from 1990 to 1998 I was a former owner and operator of a 150-unit full service suites hotel, restaurant and nightclub in Southern Ohio.
