I just created a video of the new Houston home search application my broker had developed by diverse solutions. I decided to make a video giving a little bit of information on how to use it and what all it is capable of doing because of how much more robust its offerings are in comparison to everything else out on the market. This new Houston home search application allows the user to search homes by time on the market, bank owned foreclosures, pre-foreclosures, time on the market, price drops and walk score (Walk score is a rating on how close all your everyday shops and hang outs are to the property in question) along with all the other normal search choices you would have on other Houston home search applications. I almost forgot there is even a feature where you can view solds if you register. Check out the video below to see soe of the things it can do.

A couple of months ago another agent in my office and the loan officer that we both frequently refer clients to got talking about how much bad information was floating out there. During our discussion we came to a consensus that the large fall off in sales even in the most stable parts of the Houston housing market were well founded when you look at the terrifyingly negative news on the national housing market. We also noted that most people in the industry that speak out to the public try to paint a picture where Houston completely escapes the troubles seen in many other markets. Since the reality for the Houston area falls in between these two extremes we decided to put together a monthly home buyer seminar. Atascocita shores is a neat golf course community that wraps around Lake Houston on the North side of the subdivision. It was established in the late seventies and had most of the homes built between 1983 and 1985. It is one of my favorite Humble communities and often gets over looked thanks in large part to the big more recent Master Planned Communities. So, feeling that it is one of the best spots to live in the Atascocita area of Humble I decided to make it my fifth post of the "The Virtual Humble Community Tours." Visit Walden On Lake Houston From Your Sofa

Welcome to my new series that helps home hunters gain a better understanding of how different housing communities in Northeast Houston compare. Today's post will be on the great golf course community Walden On Lake Houston. This can help you save lots of time eliminating different communities from your search.
