Are you looking for something fun for the family to do this weekend? As you probably very well know, raspberry season is in full swing. To go along with it Lynden is holding its annual Raspberry Festival complete with a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, 5K run, the Razz & Shine Car/Truck Cruise-In, Street market and vendor sidewalk sales, and the Gold Wing Riders lighted motorcycle parade.

Have you been to Ferndale, WA lately? Nestled in the Pacific Northwest just about 6 miles north of Bellingham and only 13 miles south of the Canadian border on the I-5 corridor. Ferndale is quickly becoming a desired location to call home to many Whatcom county residents. It's quick commute to Bellingham is a huge asset. More reasonable housing prices make it attractive especially to those who want to get more house for their money. Amazing views are abundant here. Mountbaker and the Twin Sisters are a sight to be seen in all their majesty. Bay views are available for those who desire coastal living. There are even a few homes that encompass both amazing views.
Ferndale, WA has in the past couple years, undergone quite a transformation. Nice walk ways down the Nooksack River, nice new construction next to Haggen's that has brought in multiple new businesses. If it has been a while since you have taken a journey through it is time to come again!
