(Update 8/28/09) - FOUND - SAFE - Two Teenage Girls Missing From Temecula

Both Temecula Preparatory School students, were at Alexis' home Friday before they apparently left the home just before midnight. They have not been heard from since.

The parents say the girls would not have "run away", yet authorities believe they have.

My opinion is that teens do sneak out occasionally because they may want to go somewhere that the parents don't want them to go. I did this myself when I was a teenager.

My boys have done this before but they do come back relatively soon hoping to get in before I would find out.

So initially, they may have gone out to meet friends without their parents knowledge, (which is technically running away), but now that they have been gone since Friday night parents, friends and our whole community are terribly worried that something else that the girls were not planning on could have happened.

Sunday Afternoon, I went to Old Town to meet a friend and found a great new Restaurant, The Edge Restaurant and Lounge! It's located on Old Town Front Street at the corner of 5th, this new eating establishment has something to please everyone:

Part lounge/sports bar,

part fine dining and

part sidewalk cafe.

..............When we entered "The Edge", we were greeted by Taryn, who offered to give us a tour. Here's her picture in front of the indoor water fall!

Every detail was considered in making this place a grand stand attraction.

There's more! Outside on the outer edges of The Edge, there are the out door eating and loung areas. This is the side facing Old Town Front Street!!!

Old Town has many quaint and historic sites but was missing what this new place can offer.

Bank Owned Homes are getting many, multiple offers!!! There is such heated competition on Bank Owned Homes that investors are paying cash many thousands of dollars above asking price.

This is driving the prices up a little here in Southwest Riverside County. Why? When these sales close in approximately two weeks, (cash sales close more quickly), there are sold comparables at the higher prices.

Many buyers stay away from short sales but if you are having a hard time competing with the other offers on Bank owned homes, you may want to reconsider putting offers on short sales...here's why:

Short sales are a little different matter. Although they are priced with the current market, there is not the same amount of interest with these homes.
