Hello to all! I think this is the perfect time to perform a home buyers seminar. Since the tax credit has been extended for first time buyers and repeat buyers,I was wondering if anybody had some great ideas regarding a home buyers seminar. I would appreciate good and bad feedback so we can all learn from others.

QUESTIONS?

1. Where would be the best place to hold the seminar?

2. The maximum amount of RSV-P's?

3. What refreshments should be served at the seminar?

4.What would be the ideal time and day such as weekends or weekdays?

5. What kind of professional should speak at the seminar?

6. Best way to get RSV-P's and spread out the word?

7. What kind of marketing material should be given away?

Well, these are some of my questions. I would love to read every ones feedback!

OMG I can't believe this just happened to me. I am so fed upwith these sellers that decide to do bankruptcy after the short sale has been approved and ready to close by the buyers. I was two days away from closing when my sellers decided to do bankruptcy. It was just a coincidence that the buyers were traveling from Asia to the States on the same day that the seller decided not to close. The frustration at this point for me was unbearable. Yet, Ididn't even know how to brake it to the buyers agent.

I guess that some sellers don't even care about how much time and effort it takes to get an approved short sale. I really would appreciate for all sellers to make a decision before they make us Realtors waist our valuable time! I really hope nobody goes through this!

Hay, don't we just love working for free!

I know many Realtors are either frustrated or burnt out with the Real Estate business. However, a small getaway can do magic for you. It opens up your complete way of thinking. Actually it clears your mind and improves your capacity. I just came back from Punta Cana, located in the Dominican Republic and boy, that completely changed my personality. Since we ( Realtors) are constantly on the phone, emailing, out to appointments, attending seminars and educational courses; many people don't take our careers very seriously. Others think its just fun and games. Unfortunately, our jobs are full of responsibilities and people must take that into account. For this reason disconnecting yourself from your daily routine can help you improve your business.
