Oxnard Homes For Sale; Foreclosure and Bank Owned Properties

If you are looking to purchase a home in Oxnard, NOW is a good time. Sadly enough the Oxnard area seems to be one of the highest statistical area's for an abundance of foreclosure and bank owned homes. Prices have dropped substantially over the last year. BUT this means that if you are an investor or a first time homebuyer that has been waiting for that perfect tiiming....Well..this just might be the time! Interest rates are unbelievably low....values are down. Banks are unloading their inventory now.

People tend to find that comfort level in watching what others do and following along..When the market was booming EVERYONE seemed to be jumping in...it was a BUYING frenzy. Now everyone is a bit timid.....last time we all waited for the right moment...guess what? We all missed it. Can't believe how many people were wishing they had purchased property in the early to mid nineties when values were low.

SO think about it!! Now just might be the right time to invest in the Ventura County Real Estate market.

Active Price Range-Active Buying!

The Beautiful Ventura County Coastline

Ready for Spring? Right now in Ventura County investors are becoming active again. The sought after price range seems to be between $250,000 and $350,000. Investors as well as home buyers are back in the game. With interest rates so low and real estate at prices that haven't been seen in years, Ventura County has many buyers feeling that now is the time to jump into the market. Bank owned homes are plentiful right now and that will only last for a few years. It does appear to be an optimal time to take advantage of a dip in values and a dip in the interest rates.....can't remember when the two together have been so inviting.

So, consider owning a second place here on the coast. Warm weather, beaches, palm trees, quaint downtown strolls....what other place has it all! Ventura County homes for sale, Ventura condo's and townhomes are perched on a hillside overlooking the ocean. Ahhh.....what a peaceful, fun place to live! Check out the real estate here at Ventura Homes For Sale.

No Dog Left Behind ....Economy Devastating to Animals!

I happen to be a dog lover, owner and occasional breeder as well as a Realtor in Ventura County California. Did you know that here in California if you are listing a vacant home that is short pay or a foreclosure and you see there was an animal left behind, then you, as the listing realtor, are responsible for that animal? You should take it to the nearest animal shelter. An alternative approach is to research the area for an animal rescue contact for the particular breed.

Right now the animal shelters are overloaded with animals that have been taken there because owners can no longer afford to care for them. The numbers in the shelters are increasing daily and more and more are without homes. If you love animals and have room to possibly love another, then now is the time to think seriously about visiting an animal shelter near you and giving one of these lost souls a new home. After all, it is not their fault they have been abandoned.

In a down economy, a new dog or puppy can bring a lot of warmth and love to a home. Just make sure you can afford to keep one over the next 10-15 years before entering into ownership. It is an injustice to discard an animal and leave it behind. These animals do know they are abandoned and they suffer hunger, thirst and loneliness.

Just some food for thought....For more dog information check out my local blog www.Venturahomesfordogs.blogspot.com and for more local Ventura County Real Estate information visit my real estate blog at www.Venturahomes.blogspot.com

City of Ventura's bi-annual Art Walk is here again! Art Walk is a downtown self guided art show that displays artists from the entire county. Most of the downtown merchants open their buildings to showcase the art. The event is two days, Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th. This project is a great way to see the downtown area of Ventura at it's best. Stroll the quaint downtown and visit coffee bars and/or wine bars! Take in a movie. Enjoy the Ocean breeze. At the same time check out Ventura Real Estate over the weekend.
