With the take over of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and the recent drop in interest rates, we are seeing a new opportunity for homebuyers to purchase property in the Ventura County Real Esate market.Ventura homes for sale and Oxnard homes for sale are seeing an upsurge of multiple offers.The cheap and good houses now seem to be going quickly.....how many years has it been since we have seen ventura county properties prices this reasonable. The falling prices have truly opened the doors to a dream that some people never thought would happen for them. It truly is time to hop into the market again. It is doubtful that Oxnard property, Ventura property, and Ventura County Real Estate will stay this low in value for too long. Historically, real estate rises and falls with economic trends. However, each fall is usually not quite as far and each gain is greater.
Ironically enough my mother loved to visit New York! We would go every year to the dog show at Madison Square Garden...the great Westminster Dog Show. We both showed dogs and it was a highlight of our year. I remember the year after September 11th when she dug out a postcard for me that had a picture of the twin towers on it....she said keep this as a memory of how it used to be. That annual trip drew us together as mother and daughter and we became "friends" for life.
On September 11th, 2003, my mother passed away....I often wonder if she didn't sort of subconsciously know it was September 11th. She always did want to make a statement and definitely did not want to ever be forgotten. So now every September 11th I join that group of people who lost their loved ones on that day. I am proud to fly a flag and think back about all the loved ones that gave up their lives on this day...."Miss ya Mom."
