Village Park is a warm, inviting, and unique family community located just north of Allen along 121. Cape Cod style homes and traditional brick homes with front porches and lush landscaping give this neighborhood a small town charm. There are multiple open green park areas within walking distance to every house throughout the neighborhood. Residents get to enjoy a community pool overlooking the community fountain. Village Park is only minutes to 121 and 75, with direct access to downtown Dallas. While the address is in McKinney, children attend the highly acclaimed Allen ISD. In fact, Allen ISD has plans to build a new elementary school inside Village Park. Prices in Village Park start in the $180's for newer homes, which is a great alternative for people looking to stay in the Allen ISD. The new Star Creek shopping center with Cinemark Theatres, Lifetime Fitness, and local shopping venues is kitty corner from the subdivision. In addition, a new Montessori school is to be built directly south of the neighborhood line. Construction for the new office complex has already begun at the corner of 121 and Lake Forest.

Frisco has this neat little quadrant located off of Main Street and the Dallas North Tollway referred to as Frisco Square, also dubbed "The New Downtown Frisco." There are many shops, restaurants, the new city hall, public library, Pizza Hut Park, and even a Channel 5 News Room. I remember about 5 years ago when I told my buyers of all the things that were planned by the city, I would get looks of 'yea right' or I will believe it when I see it'. But to actually see the city carry it through and to truly build a destination city as originally planned is almost unheard of these days with all of the city bureaucracies that typically interfere.
Let me give you a typical night out with the family and let me know if it sounds like you would come to Frisco to check it out.
6:00pm - Cruz up the Dallas North Tollway with ease and exit Main Street
6:15pm - Check out the new state of the art library and play area (hey it's free!)
6:45pm - Stop off at Pizza Hut Bar and grab a $1 domestic draft on wed nights from 4-7
7:15pm - Catch a Jonas Brothers Concert or a Dallas Burn Soccer Club game
10:00pm - walk across the street to a late night dinner at the outside patio at Lochrann's Irish Pub or have a famous burrito at Mattitos.
Sound like fun? It is, trust me...I have done this scenario many times. Frisco has really done this city right and with Frisco Square up and running since 2007, I can't wait to see what else is in store for this wonderful place to live and visit.

If you have driven on Hwy 75 North through Allen, chances are you have noticed something new and very exciting taking shape at the Bethany exit. Initially slated to open in the summer of 2007, the development called Watters Creek was delayed and the grand opening ribbon cutting did not take place until May 2008. However, PF Chang’s did open for business in July 2007 and Market Street in February 2008.
Watters Creek give shoppers a “retail resort” with beautiful natural features, abundant landscaping and outdoor restaurant seating, curved streets, meandering pathways, pond surrounding by restaurants, shade structures, interactive art that children could climb on, and even a community fireplace. This center has a village look and feel with colors and textures that follow the rolling topography of the area.
Before the developer, Trademark Property, started building the project, they invited two dozen women from the Allen area to provide input on the center’s layout, landscaping, parking options, pedestrian walkways and even outdoor art. With the insightful contributions from these women, Watters Creek provides an extraordinary shopping experience that enhances the quality of life for residences and visitors.
Watters Creek has 1.15 million square feet of mixed-used development with specialty retail shops such as Sephora, Vera Bradley, Chico’s, White House | Black Market, Swoozies, Sunglass Hut, Starbucks and Cru. These new additions join a growing list of top national and regional specialty retailers including Market Street gourmet grocer, Borders, Ann Taylor Loft, Jos. A. Bank, Eddie Bauer, Origins, Francesca’s and Village Jewelers. Shoppers and visitors can look forward to dining at these exquisite restaurants at Watters Creek: PF Changs, Naan Korean Grills and Sushi Bar, Cru Wine Bar & Bistro, Brio Tuscan Grill, Grimaldi’s Coal Brick Oven Pizzeria, Woodlands Grill & Gathering Place, Cheesecake Factory, and Mi Cocina.
