Any city girl always loves it when new highways open up so we can get to wherever we are going faster and more efficiently! The highly anticipated Highway 121 extension that will take you from east of Stonebriar Center to Coppell/Grapevine border in 60 mph speed is open already greatly appreciated by yours truly! This new infrastructure is going to add so many options for people that have been traveling on other North Dallas east/west bound infrastructures like Hwy 190, 380 and even 635. From the Southwest corner of Frisco, you can be at DFW airport in half the time it would have taken you only last week! Try it…you will be smiling the whole way. Forget stop lights and traffic jams and just giddily glide on thru the fast roads of Hwy 121, but don't forget your toll tag---this is a toll road!
We in Frisco are very happy about the opening of our part, but some other cities are not celebrating in full just yet. According to TXDOT, Hwy 121 tollway will be fully accessible from southeast Frisco (Hillcrest) to I-75 by 2010, so Mckinney citizens get ready! DID YOU KNOW? When complete, the entire Hwy 121 Tollway project will increase the mobility within North Dallas by a lovely 26 miles to travel in ease! And I am one very happy blogger because of it!

On the south side of El Dorado (soon to be a six lane roadway) in between Teel Parkway and FM 423, the water feature, stone-enclosed entrance signs lead you into a community of elegance and architectural style ranging from Mediterranean to old world medieval turret and thick mortar lines. After much anticipation, Sotherby Homes just completed their model this summer of 2008 and is officially open for business at Country Club Ridge. The last time I walked this model was at frame stage back in February 2008 and even with only the frame and roof decking up, I could see that this model was going to be true to Sotherby's immaculate style, design and innovation! Starting in the $500's, just like Huntington, if will be hard to find something in Country Club Ridge for under half a million. You can get lucky, and find a foreclosure or short sale...but you are still looking to be in the low to mid-400's and there could be some work that needs to be done to bring it up to builder quality. The Shaddock Companies do almost everything that I have ever seen with their name on it, first class all the way and their decision to build quality homes at Country Club Ridge was no different. Did you know? Most of the lots in Country Club Ridge are ¼ acre and larger with plenty of room for a 3-car garage and pool!

I love going out on a limb and venturing to a new location. This location I am speaking of is centrally located in West Frisco off of the Dallas Tollway and Lebanon on the southwest corner.
