Yesterday I had lunch with another agent in the office at Smokey Bones in Jefferson Pointe here in Fort Wayne. I've eaten there MANY times before and have always been pleased with the service and the food. Well, until yesterday.
We were in a bit of a rush because we were meeting with an interior designer at 12:00 so we got there at 11:00 thinking that would be more than enough time. We ordered at 11:10 and before we knew it... it was 11:40 and we still hadn't received our food. I'm not "that guy" that gets mad about things like this, I understand sometimes things happen. We asked our server what was up and she sent the manager over. He apoligized over and over and then gave us our meals FREE!
I certainly didn't expect that and was very pleased about the way the manager handled it. We quickly at our food (AWESOME chicken ceaser salad) and headed off to our meeting! Well, not before we left the server a $10 tip and a business card.
Although we had to wait and the service was a bit slow, I'll definitely continue to eat at Smokey Bones. Maybe we'll go back tonight to celebrate our 3 closings today!

I'm a little surprised that 2009's prices are higher than 2008's. The average sale price for homes in September 2009 is 96.2% of list price, up from last September. Average days on market is LESS IN 2009 than 2008, another pleasant surprise.
These numbers show that I have been saying for years. Fort Wayne is a great place to live! Homes in Fort Wayne are affordable and you get a lot of home for the price!
