Fast and Pain Free!

Jason & Michelle,

It's been 22 days since the time we put an offer in on our house to the day we had keys in hand!

My husband and I had put off purchasing a home because of the fear that the stress would weigh heavily on my husbands PTSD. Everyone has told us in the past the VA loans were so stressful and a grueling process that we conciously decided to write it off, and just rent.

We were referred to an agent by one of our friends who said "this guy is the go-to-guy for VA." the 45 minutes we spent talking of the phone that first day put our minds at ease. Lee Gallaher (our agent) assured us that he would help us make this as stress-free as possible. Lee said that the #1 step is using a mortgage company that knows VA loans inside and out; he referred us to Jason and his team at Guild Mortgage.

When I first spoke to Jason, he too made me feel relaxed, and at ease with the process. Jason has a pre-approval for us within hours of our first time speaking. My husband and I started looking right away, and quickly found "the one."

Michelle quickly contacted me by email/phone to assist her in getting all of documents that she needed to start our paperwork. All of my emails we responded to quickly with clear communication. The team allowed me to pick up our paperwork from the office and take it home for my husband and I to sign/look over in our own space. This meant a lot to my husband; he gets high anxiety signing paperwork.

Once we were onto underwriting, Gabby was quick to contact me as follow up as well.

Throughout the whole process not one person allowed me to feel stupid for asking a million questions. I hold everyone we worked with in high regard; I'm an extreme type-A personality, I micro manage, and get things done as quick and effecient as possible. What I'm trying to say.. is that I can be difficult, and they kept up with my pace every step of the way while holding my hand.
