It seems that the days of printed newspapers are winding down! Now I'm not telling you to stop using them for lead generation. I am telling you to track all of your ads and make sure that every ad you run pays for itself.
I have personally moved away from printed media, with the exception of post cards, and now advertise mostly online. I use google, yahoo, msn and ask mainly...but there are a few other search engines that allow you to use geographic targeting. So when I find one of these types of search engines I test it out and if its profitable I put it to work!
Start building a foundation for your business through proven marketing systems and techniques. It's easy to run a high level real estate business when you have big numbers of leads coming in. So now is the time to start generating big numbers of leads!

this is a little tidbit I haven't mentioned anywhere except to clients that have retained me to help them get their marketing in order.
My last office location was on a main street but didn't seem to generate alot of walkin traffic. So I had an idea and bought an A-framed sandwich board from ebay and put the following message on it!
"FREE LIST OF
BANK OWNED
HOMES
SIDE DOOR
313-555-1212"
After investing in the $125.00 sign my office generated over 225 leads in less than 5 months.
