Aside from Regional 9 which includes Easton and Redding--Trumbull students overall do very well.

Below are just a few of them.

Beaches Memorial Park - Accessed via Hedgehog Road or Booth Hill
318 Acres and has a camping areas (used by local Boy Scout outings). Beaches Pool is one of Trumbull's Finest Parks and very popular with families who have younger children as the Pool has an incline - great for toddlers to play in. There is a large picnic area and also a playscape equipment area. There are Restroom and a snack bar. Beaches Pool area is within a mile of the Pinewood Lake Association so there is lots of activity at these two locations in the summer months. You feel as though you are on vacation as the location for the Pool is very private with lots of trees too for picnicking and getting out of the sun. The second Public Pool is located on the other side of Town in Tashua Rec Area.

Indian Ledge Park - Whitney Avenue- Accessed via Daniels Farm or Main Street
97 Acres and one of Trumbull's Most Beautiful Parks. There is an outdoor Amphitheatre used for summer concerts (Train was the most recent concert in 2010)---where it appeared the whole town came out for - both young and old. There is a newly built Playscape with a children's Sprinkler system, a new and beautiful turf field used for Soccer and Lacrosse in addition to many soccer fields used by Youth programs. There is also a BMX TRACK located in this park and holds many events. There is also a lighted baseball field used for many local games for the young and older teams. Trumbull is so proud of this Park - stop by to see it.

Tashua Recreation Area - Tashua Road - Accessed via Route 25 - Includes a 27 hole PUBLIC GOLF COURSE (discounted rates for Trumbull Residents with cards). A Banquet facility where many local meetings and special occasions are held. There is the second Public Swimming Pool - especially popular with older kids and teens. There is a kiddie pool located here as well, along with new basketball courts and several tennis courts. Another Beautiful Park for all of Trumbull Families to enjoy. There is something
for everyone here in Trumbull CT.
