Are you a veteran? If so, this post is just for you! Do you know a veteran? If so, call them on November 11th and tell them you appreciate their service to our country.
Coffy the Cutler teddy bear is normally not one for maudlin sentiments, but he does want to take this opportunity to thank all the women and men who have served in the armed forces.
Coffy likes to travel as much as he can, and has just recently added still another state to his itinerary, the great state of West Virginia.
He was especially thrilled to visit VFW Post 6450 in Charleston, W. Va. where he paused more than a few moments to reflect the sacrifices made by all veterans that have served their country. At the post is a large replica model plane which is a part of the monument to all veterans.

You'll have to look real close to see Coffy in the direct center of this picture.

Once again, direct center

THANK YOU to all the veterans both past and present!
A short distance away is another attraction Coffy had read about in travel magazines, and was so glad he got to see it also. Take a look at the picture below:

Now THAT is one large teapot!
Coffy made a trip to the Algonquin Mill Festival over the weekend on Sunday October 11, 2008! It was his first ever trip there and he had a lot of fun. The festival is held every fall at the Algonquin Mill Farm located just few miles from Carrollton, Ohio.

Sitting on the fence in front of the barn.

The train is due any minute!

All Aboarddddddddddd!!!!!!

"No, Coffy, you can't ride on the alpaca!"

Will someone tell Coffy he is supposed to be turned the other way?

Teacher's pet?
Coffy will be going on an out of state trip again very soon, but he wonders if you can guess where he was when the following picture was taken? The first person that correctly identifies his exact location will receive a gift certificate for Grinders Above and Beyond restaurant.
Check back often to see if a larger amount of background is shown in the picture.
For a clue, Coffy was somewere in one of the following counties in Ohio: Stark, Carroll, or Tuscarawas.
Certificate will be awarded to the first person that posts the correct location here in the comments section. The earliest documented comment time stamp will be used to award the certificate. To receive the certificate, winner should send contact information (held in confidentiality if requested) to:

A little larger clue below.....

A little larger still....

Larger still.... Where's Coffy?

Question from office manager: "Can you volunteer an hour of your time Friday?"
Answer: "Yes."
Question from office manager: "Aren't you suppose to ask 'What for?'"
Answer: "What for?"
Explanation from office manager: "Our office will be holding a car wash from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Our Fulton office is in competition with the other 14 Cutler Real Estate offices to see which one can raise the most money for the United Way. Let Laura know what time you can volunteer."
Me talking silently to myself after office manager leaves: "Sheesh! I just spent a whole day last week as a volunteer cleaning carpets at the Red Cross building for the United Way Day of Caring and Sharing. As if that wasn't enough? Oh well.... I guess it won't hurt anything... besides, I can take Coffy along, I am sure he would get a kick out of it."
Fast forward to Friday, September 19th, 2008, 11:00 am:
Just part of the infamous "Car Wash Gang"
"Okay, this one is clean enough, get the next one up here!"
"Hey! how's come I have to sweep the inside while everyone else is laughing and having fun?"

Coffy helped to raise over $300.00 for United Way! HorayyyyYYYY!!
On Tuesday, September 9th, Cutler Real Estate lent some much needed assistance as staff and agents volunteered and participated in the annual United Way Day of Caring and Sharing. The Red Cross in Canton had an urgent need to have the carpets cleaned in their building on 5th St, and also their buses sorely needed a wash job.
Coffy was able to work with the carpet cleaning crew, and was really happy about that! Coffy got to work with four REALTORS on the carpet cleaning crew. They were Gordon, Jim, Justin, and Jim.

"Okay, let's get this show on the road!"

"It's not as easy as it looks! Supervising the carpet cleaning crew was hard work!"

If you ever get a chance, be sure to lend a helping hand! Please help the Red Cross to help others.
