The addition of a train station is literally putting Mt Arlington on the map. Those of us from the area already know what are great place it is to visit and live in. Where else can you vacation where you live?

Sunday January 20th at 11am is the dedication of the new train station. The tunnel through the station features six murals that were silk screened onto tile then hand painted. The scenes in the murals are of Bertrand Island.
Bertrand Island Amusement Parkwas open until 1983. Park of Woody Allen's "Purple Rose of Cairo" were filmed at Bertrand Island. In 2001 a townhouse development was constructed on the site.
