The interest on these products, tied to overnight lending rate, are now -more negotiable than ever. More friends and clients are dialing the lenders- for dollars.
What are they doing over there!? Finally, Normandy Park has builders to develop the First Avenue South Corridor. Welcome to Normandy Park Fitness, and Papa John's and the other new tenants at So. 200th Street. More in the works includes townhomes and office space, landscape and bicycle lanes.
A special Citizen Advisory Committee is working on the many details. Some of the recommendations can be discussed soon.

We have had an uproar about development of a third runway at Sea-Tac Airport. When things got ugly, the gardeners knew what to do. The Seiki Garden thrives again after many years beside the now-closed Des Moines Way Nursery. Did we plow it under? Thankfully no. Many plants found safety at the City of Sea-Tac Botanical Garden. Cities and neighbors join in the effort to acknowledge and to preserve the gardening contribution of the many immigrant communities. Japanese, Korean and Latino, are just a few that lend richness to the life south of Seattle.
Attend the celebration at City Hall, Sea-Tac at So 188th St and Military Road. Ceremonies at 2PM on Saturday Feb 7.
HI Everyone,
One reason Normandy Park continues to be a surprising value is the Community.
The example for today includes meetings of neighbors which shape the look and feel of this center for unpretension value.
January 17 7:00PM at city hall ( 801 SW 174th St) Discuss establishing a process for allowing community identification signs for neighborhoods. How big, good landscaping, quality materials, what does such a sign say about the vision for the city? Don't miss it.
Same night- Discuss siting Essential Public Facilities. That means power plants, sewage plants, correctional and administrative facilities. State law guides development but special local considerations need to be acknowledged. City value will be impacted.
Other discussions include Construction Noise guidelines and Geologically Hazardous areas.
Is this a city-wide Superbowl? Could be.
