about Me

Jeannie Nguyen immigrated to the United States from Vietnam as a toddler and is a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Maryland. The youngest of twelve children, Jeannie was raised in a hard-working and resourceful immigrant family. Being the youngest child, Jeannieÿs older siblings and parents provided a familial and community based support system emphasizing the importance of hard-work, personal responsibility, shared success and interpersonal relationships. This dynamic, yet structured, environment has molded Jeannieÿs approach to life, business and otherwise. Jeannie graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in the Life Sciences. Upon graduation, Jeannie started her career in the biomedical industry and developed her sales expertise as a professional Pharmaceutical Sales Representative with Merck Pharmaceuticals. Jeannie then transitioned her sales and marketing skills into the family business; Title Company, Loan Brokerage and Real Estate Investments. This transition provided Jeannie with the opportunity to pursue her true passion, helping families reach their goals of home ownership and prosperity?.the true American dream! Jeannie provides a truly professional service to her clients. Originally my sister and I listed our Arlington, VA townhouse as a For Sale By Owner (FSBO). For one month we held our own open houses (with varied luck) and while a couple of people showed some interest no one seemed to take us very seriously. We bought our first home this winter. When we started looking we didn't know what to expect. We knew it was going to be a big process with a lot of work. We met Jeannie and decided to work with her because she was professional and friendly, and we knew a pro could do much better than we could on our first try. Jeannie explained to us how every step of the home buying process could be used to protect us and get us a better deal. We found a place we liked, but even though it was a buyer's market, the seller didn't want to budge because it was in very good shape. We wouldn't have known how to talk to him, but Jeannie negotiated a better deal for us. As we moved toward closing, Jeannie was always available, even late at night, to answer our questions. Now we're in our new home, the flowers are coming up in our yard, we have more space, we're closer to work, and we're only paying a little more for our home than we were paying for rent.
