Some property owners may notice a decrease in their taxes, some will stay the same and some will pay more taxes. Reappraisl is not implemented to raise taxes, it is intended to distribute the tax burden fairly amoung all property owners. Because it has been five years the last appraisal, real estate property values are likely to increase.
Well along with our gas and other cost of living going up we get a Tax Reassessment notice in the mail this week. I guess we should not complain, but where does it all stop. Our assessment went up $16,000. dollars, which I guess will not be a great amount in taxes, but it will be an increase. I guess I will just have to find one more client for this year to stay even.
