That said, in my experience as a Eastman Lake Sunapee Region Real Estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. As a member of the Lake Sunapee Region Board of Realtors, I have access to the Multiple Listing Service, additional training and education and an extensive community in which to network. I am well on the way to earning the GRI designation or Graduate Realtor Institute. The designation helps increase self-confidence, sharpen real estate skills and build a strong referral network with classmates. I find the Eastman community in particular offers a variety of benefits unparalleled in the Lakes Region. A strong sense of community makes Eastman an ideal home for people of all ages: families, singles, retirees and professionals. It is centrally located within driving distance to the Hanover/Lebanon area, Dartmouth College and the state capital of Concord, yet Eastman's setting feels like a rural getaway. Residents can stroll the trail around the 142-acre, Eastman Lake, meet for a round of golf or tennis match or gather to celebrate birthdays at the restaurant.

Eastman features approximately 1,000 year-round and vacation homes as well as 336 condominiums. The community is home to an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, activity center, swimming pool, cross county ski trails, snowshoeing trails and hiking areas that abut a state wildlife management area. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing and sailing on the lake. There is an activity to enjoy all year long! If you want to visit I can arrange rentals in either a condo or home from just a few nights or a longer term stay.

Of course, each community in the Lake Sunapee area has its own distinctive personality. New London has 3 large lakes for swimming or boating plus, Colby Sawyer College, a summer theater, great schools and the beautiful, Lake Sunapee Country Club. The Lebanon/Hanover area is another great place to live. A country setting or shopping malls. Everything you need within a 10 minute drive. Just some of the attractions are Dartmouth College, a premier medical center in Dartmouth Hitchcock, the Connecticut River, ski areas, golf, Lebanon Air Port, movie theaters, great food, and our neighboring state Vermont. You will still want to shop in New Hampshire, there is no sales tax! THERE IS SO MUCH MORE!

I am originally from Brielle, New Jersey and moved to New Hampshire in the summer of 1988. I spent almost 25 years in the construction industry, 15 years as a maker of high-end, custom cabinets and furniture for some of the finest homes in the Lake Sunapee/Dartmouth Region. Outside work, I enjoy coaching my daughter's ice hockey and lacrosse teams. Playing tennis, hiking, kayaking and fly fishing are just some of the things I do to enjoy life. As a sports fan, my family and I spend a lot of time rooting for the Dartmouth Big Green. My daughter Lauren is now attending eighth grade at the Kearsarge Middle School. She is playing ice hockey for the Hanover Wild girl's team. Her younger brother Kaelen is just over 2 years old and is running about the house.

Areas of Expertise

I specialize in the Eastman Community, located in the towns of Grantham, Springfield and Enfield. This community is a major subdivision of 3600 acres, a 325 acre lake, and an 18 hole championship golf course. Add in the 12 tennis courts and miles of hiking and cross country ski trails and you have a four season community that can keep you busy. There are 336 condos, some with the best water views the community has to offer. If a home is more your style, over 1000 homes exist with about an additional 100 +/- buildable lots remaining. Over the lest three years there have been an average of 20-25 condos for sale and depending on the season 60-80 homes. The summer is by far our peak selling/buying season with so many people vacationing, but ski vacations rank right up there. MT Sunapee is about a 20 minute drive and most major ski areas in VT and NH are about an hour to 1 1/2 drive from this location.

Outside the community you are less than 30 minutes to Hanover and Dartmouth College, 15 minutes to New London and Sunapee. You will find some of the best lakes, entertainment, and dining available in the state! New London alone has three of the nicest, cleanest lakes you can find anywhere.

After a wonderful ski vacation at Mount Sunapee this winter, we decided to purchase a second home at Eastman. By chance, we contacted Jeff Adie for some viewings the day before leaving the area.
