Here are a couple of economic indicators that pertain to New Hampshire. The Boston Federal Reserve Bank stated the unemployment rate last September was just 4.1 percent. That's by far the lowest in the New England region and well below 5.7 percent rate encompassing New England and the national rate of 6.1 percent.
Our state's September index of economic activity was 198.7, which is again the highest in this region and 20 percent above the national index of 159.3. Since September of last year, New Hampshire's index has risen by 2.9 points compared to a one point rise for the nation. By contrast, Rhode Island's September index of economic activity was just 156.6, and that was nearly six points below September of last year.

Here's one from the web. Jott.com lets you call a phone number and you basically leave a voice message to record your thoughts. The service automatically transcribes your voice to text and emails the message directly to you. I use this all the time just as a reminder to do things that you might forget to do otherwise.
We had a rainy week this week yet progress was still made on the South Cove Rebuild. As you will see in some photos there are some new walls up, a few trusses and a major change to the old Barn is taking place.
The pool is starting to take shape with footings in and re-bar in place to form the walls. In the photo of the pool area you will see two tractors dumping and moving stone forming the base for the bottom of the pool.

If you are looking at homes in areas you not that familiar with try this web site out, WalkScore.com
It's a great way to locate schools, restaurants, parks etc. All you have to do is enter the street address, town and zip code. What you get back is a list of all available amenities and approximate distance from the address you entered.
As the name implies it's scores the address with a "walk score" but here in New Hampshire there are not a lot of home addresses that you can reasonably walk from to get to amenities. So if you live in a rural area disregard the "walk score" but use the web site for locating places and how many miles to needed to drive to get there.
If you look at the left side of the page it will give you a list of locations. Click on the circle with down pointing arrow, you will see a list of similar amenities like movie theater's and various milages. If you click on the name of the theater it will mark it on the map. This is a very useful site.
Try it when your staying in a hotel, I bet you will find things to do that a close by.
Of course there are some draw backs. The site might list some out of business locations or miss a location but over all this is a great tool to use!!!
