Community Volunteer

Community service as a volunteer for the Washington Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps. has helped Helton give back to his community. Helton has been Lieutenant since 2004 helping the Corps run on a day to day basis while by being on the executive board since 2001. He has also been responsible for spearheading the recruiting of new members over the last few years resulting in a strong membership.

Helping the Corps. celebrate it's 50th Anniversary in 2007, resulted in a very successful event held at the Township's Swim Club.Helton is also on the Executive Board lending a hand with the overall business of the Corps.With over 700 Emergency Calls since 2001, Helton has been credited with one of the best CPR survival rates.When an emergency hits time is of the essence and Helton raises to the occasion.
