Anchorage, Alaska looks like it’s ready to pull through another long winter. But just in case the spring needs a little help to melt the winter frost, there is an incredibly hot event coming in to Egan Center in March! SPIN- Electronic Music Festival is coming March 10 and 11th and promises to heat up Alaska with a whole new dimension of Light, Sound and Themed Stage Design. SPin in Alaska

If you haven’t heard about it yet, it is because festival organizers are carving out a place for Alaska on the world festival scene map! That doesn’t mean this year’s offering is less than amazing. Check this out: SPIN- Electronic Music Festival is bringing no less than three world class acts to Anchorage. Stonebridge, Matt Darey, and HyperCrush top the program! But wait until you hear about all of the others who fill out the festival ticket!

It’s a fantastic two-day event with 16 additional acts including: Alex and the Lion, Simplicate, Dig Sista, Pranxter and Myndgruv, D.Allen, Knowmatic Noize, Jacob Mattie and Dammbro. And these are just a few of the DJ’s who will keep the crowd moving to the best music to hit Anchorage in this millennium!

Still not convinced? What if you add even more talent to the mix? I Was Dragged, Kicking and Screaming....... And I Liked it!

I was dragged, kicking and screaming and maybe a little crying but I was glad to finally get away.
Running your own business, from home no less, means work is always with you. You carry your phone, your laptop, your iPad, whatever.. it's always with you. But I was so thankful for my husband yesterday that made me leave it all.

geo-caching in the Ozarks

Well, not really all. I did have my phone but only for emergencies.
After church yesterday we enjoyed burgers at Braums and headed out geo-caching. I was so tempted to return several emails during the quick stop to change clothes and was right in the middle of a response when I was "ushered" out of my office with comments of, "it's not an emergency" and "you can respond tomorrow".

This is true. Our actions determine how people treat you and if I'm on 24/7, I will never get a break.

Lake Taneycomo - Rockaway Beach
We headed out for an afternoon of geo-caching with the boys down to Lake Taneycomo. I guess it didn't matter anyway because we lost signal somewhere in the valleys of the Ozarks. We found numerous caches and came home exhausted and happy.
Of course I had to rush to the computer to make sure I didn't miss any major issues - nope, all clear. Great. I'll pick this up tomorrow. (Thanks honey for helping me unplug yesterday!)

Narberth PA - Information, Landscaping and Events

Located in the southeastern part of Pennsylvania, Narberth sits on the western edge of Philadelphia in Montgomery County. Part of the Main Line district of Philadelphia, Narberth is home to roughly 4,200 residents and was incorporated as a town in 1895. Known as Hometown USA in the area, Narberth offers dozens of residential neighborhoods and annual events to keep you entertained all year long.   • Downtown Narberth offers a collection of shops, markets and community centers, restaurants and theaters.

Narberth keeps our residents entertained year round. Each month there is something new and exciting going on for the folks in town and surrounding areas. The Great Narberth Leprechaun Hunt is a great event each March. The Putnam County Spelling Bee is always on everyone's mind in Narberth. First Fridays Art Walks are a great Friday night event for date night or educational classes.
