Hoff Funeral Homes Director Tim Hoff & his wife Jenny will be plunging for charity on March 5th, 2011.
The Hoffs, recently elected King & Queen of the Children's Grief Connection of Minnesota "Frigid Fun & Frolic" event will be leaping into the 34 degree, frigid waters of Lake Waconia. Jenny has set a goal of raising $1,500, and Tim $2,001. As of 2/21/2011, Jenny has raised $1,135 and Tim $675.
They recently created a video promoting the "training" Tim will be going through to prepare for the frigid jump.
On the topic of the plunge, Tim said, "I am plunging for the children who are grieving and on behalf of my war against aging and mid-life crisis. Gonna prove to the kids that I've still "Got it!" . Or quite possibly have 'lost it'. As King of Frigid Fun and Frolic, (indicated by the crown upon my head) it is my duty to proclaim this plunge as a royal act of loyalty or a royal act of senility - you decide, either way, Pledge the royal Plunge!!!"
