SunFest in Ocean City Maryland has been going on for 35 fun filled years & my family has made it into a girls weekend with no husbands & no kids :)

I was unable to attend the previous years that they have went to SunFest but this year I needed to get away for a few days & SunFest sounded perfect!

The large variety of crafters, artists & novelty vendors filled many large tents & numerous outdoor vendors as well... You could buy leather goods, childrens games & buckets, Christmas Ornaments, Stone Turtles & Stone Mushrooms for outdoors, the Patio Flame & so many creative & talented artists everywhere... The Village People also performed but we missed that show.

The picture to the right is from our bacony down around 33rd street & the ocean... The night air was cool & breezy but all in all it was a mild weekend... My sister & I just sat on the balcony in the evening & listened to the waves crash along the shore... There were not too many poeple around like in June when we were here so it was like having your own personal beach view!

We took advantage of some great deals on creative items for Christmas presents & hope to make it there again next year for at least an Orange Cream Smoothie or the Strawberry Banana Smoothie... (see Pictures)

If you happen to be in town and see some Pink Flamingos on the corner of Main Street & 6th Street it is just that Keller Williams Realty has been FLOCKED from the Local Animal Welfare Society of Monroe County...

Tha Animal Shelter here in Monroe County closed back in January 2009 and since that time the AWSOM program has been raising money to reopen a shelter for our homeless animals in the area... They need to raise $1,000 per day til October 30th in order to open the shelter on Halloween!!

Keller Williams Realty Donated $250.00 to be Flocked to help out this great cause here in our county... The birds will eventually Flock to another location to help raise money for the shelter! We actually donated $500 so we will be FLOCKED again in the near future!

We dressed up some of the Flamingos in Pimp Hats & Feather Boas for extra looks & just to be fun & creative...

Well Summer is drawing to a close and it is time for Shawnee Mountain in the Poconos to host their annual RODEO & Chili Cook-off on September 26th & 27th...

Come on out for some great Food & Fun starting at 11:30am & the Rodeo is at 2pm...

Another Summer is coming to an end and while the leaves slowly change into thier autumn colors, Lukie's Fall Festival's Planning Committee is moving into full swing... Starting with our win in the Labor Day Parade..

We handed out tons of flyers to come to the festival & The Lukie Fest Tiger danced the day away with our DJ... JR Jukebox Entertainment...he will also be at Lukie's Fest again this year...

Throughout the parade we danced The Apache, Dial 9-1-1, Cha-Cha Slide & Others... we had the crowd dancing & The Tiger was movin & shakin the whole time...

Thanks for all the friendly support we recieved along the parade route & to the many who mentioned that they wouldn't miss it for the world...
