About Me:

I'm a "baby boomer" born in Key West, FL into a career military family. My husband and I live in a rural area near Mt Pleasant, NC; my 91-year-old mother - whose family history in North Carolina dates back to the 1740's - lives with us. I have four children and five grandchildren, all of whom live in Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties. My passions are my grandchildren, gardening/canning, reading and photography, SCUBA, and the wonders of rural living!

I was an entrepreneur in the healthcare industry - after years in x-ray equipment manufacturing, I founded what became a nationally-recognized award-winning mobile mammography program that served women in four southern states. I am a graduate of Leadership Charlotte and a former Charlotte Chamber Entrepreneur of the Year.

I retired from healthcare in 2005 to pursue a career in real estate and affiliated with RE/MAX Leading Edge in 2007; I've since achieved RE/MAX 100% Club status. I've also earned a CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) designation and am EcoBroker® Certified - both designations that enable me to work with unique client needs - still fulfilling my lifelong destiny to "make a positive difference" in the world!
