Value and Values

Horses at Polo Ranch

Here in the midst of economic chaos and fear, where the Stock Market has lost more than half its value in the last eighteen months and scandals and fraud seem to overwhelm the news every day, you might wonder if there's anything real and substantive out there in the world. Remember when people bought what they could afford? Remember when handshakes still meant something? Remember a time when people said what they meant and meant what they said? And how about the good "old-fashioned" work ethic, where people worked hard for and earned their money to afford things of value? Are these values just "old-fashioned"? We think not. Although we all may have lost some net-worth, there is still something very worthwhile about living in the Sheridan area.
Yes, we have values here that still resonate with most people, and perhaps that adds value to our special properties. We think value and values are closely correlated. We think that the "old-fashioned" values help add value to real estate, because people want to live, work and play in areas where they can trust one another, where they feel safe, earn a decent living and enjoy their lives. This is a unique place where you can enjoy the "Sheridan Lifestyle". We think the value of our properties is tied to quality; quality land, quality of investment and quality of life. Quality properties have always sold in the Sheridan market and we think the trend will continue. We're fortunate to live in an area where we are blessed with the riches of abundant natural resources, including coal, oil and gas, in addition to the extraordinary outdoor recreation and wonderful lifestyle offered here. There are many reasons to live, work and play in Sheridan. Whether you're looking for an investment opportunity or a great lifestyle, or both, we have it. Sheridan and the surrounding area, which includes Big Horn and thousands of acres of our wonderful Big Horn Mountains and the vast ranch land of Powder River Country, offers opportunities to enjoy life in a more relaxed setting with high quality of life . When you invest in any property, you're making an investment in more than just the property. If it's a commercial property for, whether you live there or not, you are investing in the greater economy in which the property is located. Similarly, when investing in a home, you are investing in a community as well as your family and your dreams. After all, most people invest in their homes for more than just financial reasons. We like to believe that people still invest in their families and lifestyles by purchasing homes that suit both. Although home buyers can and will see the values of their homes increase over time, it is likely to take time and not be inflated the way it has been in the past decade or so. While the homes appreciate in value, hopefully families are growing together and enjoying their lives.
In an economy where uncertainty is certain, where corruption, fraud and dishonesty have left investors with real losses, it might be comforting to know that we still have real values and value. From high-end properties to income producing properties The Cady Buildingand cash-cow businesses, we have something to offer.

SHERIDAN & BIG HORN

Along the eastern slope of Wyoming's Big Horn Mountains stretches one of the most beautiful, desirable, and valuable real estate markets in the American West. Sheridan, Wyoming and the surrounding area offers a once-in-a-lifetime real estate opportunity for individuals in search of a perfect piece of the historic West and a solid investment opportunity.
From large working ranches, which offer multiple and diverse enterprise operations, to properties with mineral interests, sporting properties for hunting and fishing, or beautiful estates, this region is rich with investment quality properties.

The growth and popularity of Sheridan is not new; the pioneering spirit of the West is as alive today as it always has been. The Sheridan area is experiencing one of its strongest demand periods, due primarily to mineral exploration and production. Additionally, Wyoming's favorable tax climate, the Sheridan area's beauty and the people who live here, create an outstanding quality of life , which further adds to the demand. Above all else however, Land is still king and those who own ranches like those featured on our website are rarely traded. Their scarcity is truly a testament to both their intrinsic and monetary value.

One of the most exquisite offerings in the West!

Exquisite! That word porbably caome as close to describing this property as anything can. You really need to actuall walk upon this land to appreciate it, but short of paralleling Chief Crazy Horse's footsteps, this will have to suffice until you get here to see it.

This could be one of the most unique offerings anywhere in the West. When you think of prime, spectacular western properties, you'd probably imagine an end-of-the-road masterpiece where you're in your own paradise that has a sense of exclusivity yet it's inviting, relaxing and beautiful. It would be far enough away from civilization to have quiet enjoyment, yet close enough to afford you the amenities you expect. Welcome to the OH

This gem has historical significance in the Sheridan and Big Horn area. Once home to Chief Crazy Horse and then home to Oliver Henry "Noll" Wallop and his heirs, the OH has never had a building; just the Plains Indians, the Wallop family, horses, cattle and wildlife have enjoyed it. Now it awaits your lifestyle. With just over 200 total acres, the OH, nestled in the Trabing Creek drainage and bordered by conservation easements, is as good as it gets. VIEW VIDEO.
