Kids 10 and under can play tennis from 5-6 pm, the special presentation starts at 6:00 with a special program.

Michigan plant will manufacture gas for solar panel use
Dow Corning announced that it will construct a plant to manufacture solar panel components.
According to the company, the plant will be located in Thomas Township and will manufacture monosilane gas, which is said to be an important material in photovoltaic panels. The gas is also used in liquid crystal displays.
The Tri-City area is a great location for new technology!
The company's combined solar energy investment is said to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars. The solar panel component facility is expected to create about 30 permanent jobs upon its completion in 2011.
Whats happening in Midland, Michigan and Auburn, Freeland and Sanford, MichiganStarting tomorrow October 2, 2009 the Northwood Auto Show begins in Midland, Michigan. The theme of this years auto show is "Reinventing the Wheel". The show will look a new vehicles that operate with nature and provide a new level of quality. 450 new cars and trucks will be displayed. Hours are 1-6 on Friday October 2, 9 to 6 on Saturday the 3rd, and Sunday 10 to 5.

Midland, Michigan has a great fall weekend planned !
The Cruise N Car show is this weekend in Downtown Midland on Friday from 7-11 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm. There will be dancing in the street on Main Street and McDonald to The Doo Wop DJ's. The fall weather should make it a great time to look at some cool cars and rock and roll on Saturday night.
The Re/Max Balloon festival is this weekend also, 58 balloons are scheduled to take off from the Fair Grounds Friday evening, Sat. a.m. and p.m. and Sun. a.m. Its a great time to even come and watch them in the evening.
The United Way Campaign kicked off this morning from the Midland Center for the Arts Parking Lot. Please make a contribution to the United Way Campaign.
