The Worker, Homeownership and Business Assistance Act of 2009 has established a tax credit of up to $6500.00 for qualified move-up/repeat home buyers (existing home owners) purchasing a principal residence after November 6, 2009 and on or before April 30, 2010 (or purchased by June 30, 2010 with a binding sales contract signed by April 30, 2010). This is a great way if your think of getting a larger home for your family. You just have to have owned a home for at least 5 of the last 8 years. The credit is a maximum of $6500 or 10 % of the purchase price.

Michigan plant will manufacture gas for solar panel use
Dow Corning announced that it will construct a plant to manufacture solar panel components.
According to the company, the plant will be located in Thomas Township and will manufacture monosilane gas, which is said to be an important material in photovoltaic panels. The gas is also used in liquid crystal displays.
The Tri-City area is a great location for new technology!
The company's combined solar energy investment is said to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars. The solar panel component facility is expected to create about 30 permanent jobs upon its completion in 2011.
