Whats happening in Midland, Michigan and Auburn, Freeland and Sanford, MichiganStarting tomorrow October 2, 2009 the Northwood Auto Show begins in Midland, Michigan. The theme of this years auto show is "Reinventing the Wheel". The show will look a new vehicles that operate with nature and provide a new level of quality. 450 new cars and trucks will be displayed. Hours are 1-6 on Friday October 2, 9 to 6 on Saturday the 3rd, and Sunday 10 to 5.
Also happening on October 3 & $ is Be a Tourist in Midland, with visits to Chippewa Nature Center, Circle Business Association, Creative 360, Dow Gardens, Grandma's Pumpkin Patch, Heritage Park, Lavendar Fleece, Midland Area Farmers Market, Midland Center for the Arts, Midland Community Center, Space Studio, Valley Lanes Family Entertainment Center and Valley Plaza Resort, check out www.macc.org for more information.
Also to put on your calender Fall Senior Expo at Midland Mall on Wednesday, October 14, 10 am to 3 pm.

Midland, Michigan has a great fall weekend planned !
The Cruise N Car show is this weekend in Downtown Midland on Friday from 7-11 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm. There will be dancing in the street on Main Street and McDonald to The Doo Wop DJ's. The fall weather should make it a great time to look at some cool cars and rock and roll on Saturday night.
The Re/Max Balloon festival is this weekend also, 58 balloons are scheduled to take off from the Fair Grounds Friday evening, Sat. a.m. and p.m. and Sun. a.m. Its a great time to even come and watch them in the evening.
The United Way Campaign kicked off this morning from the Midland Center for the Arts Parking Lot. Please make a contribution to the United Way Campaign.

Midland, Michigan, The Great Lake Loons won there first ever play off game this week, they have now won the first series and start the second series tonight against Fort Wayne, Go Loons ! The Loons are a Dodger Farm Club.

Midland, Michigan Advanced Battery Plant Coming to Midlandthe announcement was made by Dow Chemical Company that an advanced battery plant will be built on Dow Chemical Property starting in October 2009 which when finished will employ 800 to 900 people. This is a great boost for the Midland economy.
